[xorg] impossible de changer la configuration de l'écran

Au premier écran de démarrage de l'interface graphique, j'ai ce message:

impossible de changer la configuration de l'écran
impossible de changer la configuration pour le CRTC64
Voici la séquence de démarrage en images, car j'ignore totalement où chercher:

1er écran:
j'ai la montre qui s'affiche (assez longtemps) sur écran noir; rien ne se passe si je ne passe pas par un écran de console (aller et retour sur ctrl+alt+f1 et ctrl+alt+f7)

2ème écran:
j'ai des lignes vertes très moches, toutes seules

3ème écran:
j'ai le fameux message décrit au début:
Parfois j'ai l'impression que la fenêtre clignote, comme s'il y en avait deux l'un au dessus de l'autre qui se battent en duel pour avoir le focus; avant il pouvait y avoir deux fenêtres l'une au dessus de l'autre:

4ème écran:
J'ai la fenêtre de login qui s'affiche au milieu, j'entre le mot de passe, et ça se poursuit.

5ème écran:
j'ai enfin le fond d'écran, sans aucune icône:

6ème écran:
j'ai enfin mes icônes qui s'affichent après un nouvel aller et retour sur tty1 (ctrl+alt+f1 puis ctrl+alt+f7): sans

Ensuite alt+f1 me permet d'aller dans le menu de gnome; pas le choix car la souris aussi ne fonctionne pas (flèche bloquée au milieu); la touche control ne marche pas en console mais est reconnue par showkey.
Parfois j'ai le 3ème écran après le quatrième. De plus c'est long.

Un des logiciels de lecture vidéo ne marche pas non plus (totem ?) car il fait clignoter l'écran (alternance écran d'affichage - écran noir), avec plantage: je l'ai désinstallé...

J'avais un problème avec xorg qui recherchait "fbcon" non trouvé, et j'ai désinstallé xf86-video-fbdev.

Je suis perdu: que dois-je faire ?

Ça aurait été bien de mettre des miniatures avec un site comme : http://pix.toile-libre.org/

(si tu pouvais rééditer en le faisant, sinon tuxce le fera derrière toi à coup sûr… merci)

Connaissais pas, merci.

j'ajoute que le problème d'écran qui "clignote" se reproduit lorsque je vais dans le menu de gnome système > préférences > affichage.

Tu peux poster le ~/.xsession-errors et le /etc/hosts ?
et pour ton problème de souris, ça serait bien de répondre sur le topic que t'as crée pour, dire que ça ne fonctionne pas n'est pas suffisant, gyo t'as parlé de hal, tu donnes aucune infos et quand je parle de pistes manquantes, je veux dire par là au minimum les logs genre /var/log/Xorg.0.log !

Merci pour la réponse. Navré, je ne sais pas (toujours) où chercher...

Pour la souris, je croyais le problème lié, donc je l'ai remis ici.

J'avais un peu posté ce topic sur l'archlinux anglais, mais aucune réponse, donc question probablement mal posée.

effectivement, ça n'indique pas grand chose :|
le nom de ta machine, c'est bien myhost ? ce que t'as mis pour HOSTNAME dans rc.conf ?
pour la souris, t'aurais pas une touche fn+quelque chose pour activer/désactiver le touchpad ?

@Nic0, xorg essaie de charger tout ce qu'il reconnait ;)

(1) Souris: je suis un crét.. :oops: : c'est bien ça; tous mes autres laptop avait le bouton de verrouillage du touchpad juste à côté du pad, j'ignorais qu'il était dans les fonctions Fn+F(7) ici. Navré pour ce bazar. Merci de mettre l'autre topic à "résolu".

(2) la touche control ne marche toujours pas en mode console, mais fonctionne très bien en mode X et dans les consoles sous X: mystère :cry: .

(3) reste le problème de démarrage de X, donc ça marche mais ça démarre très mal. Ca ne le fait pas avec les live-CD de ubuntu 32 ou 64 bits ou de archlinux 32 bits. Le CD officiel d'install d'ach n'a (heureusement) pas de mode xorg, donc impossible de tester avec.
Sur mon précédent laptop, archlinux marchait très bien.

Sur celui-ci, je mélange en 64 bits core, community, testing,archlinuxfr, et quelques paquets de AUR: peut-être en est-ce la raison ?

Mon laptop a une carte graphique intel 4 series, plus récente que les cartes intel classiques, mais pas tant que ça, et là pas de super explication non plus.

J'ai mis le nom de la machine à "myhost" dans /etc/rc.conf comme dans /etc/hosts, même si je croyais qu'on pouvait donner plusieurs noms (avant c'était aas1410 pour: myhost, aas et aas1410): aucun changement.

Je n'ai pas de /etc/X11/xorg.conf, puisqu'il parait que maintenant c'est automatique.

J'ai essayé d'enlever xf86-video-vesa: aucun effet non plus.

En revanche j'ai regardé dans les wiki français et anglais, j'ai enlevé les vga=xxx de /boot/grub/menu.lst et ça s'affiche mieux au démarrage.

Il y a aussi des recommandations pour les problèmes avec intel, avec EXA, et j'ai copié le fichier de configuration minimal: aucun changement évident.
J'ai regardé là http://wiki.archlinux.fr/xorg/intel/i910:
Il y a KMS avec /etc/mkinitcpio.conf, MODULES="intel_agp drm i915", aucun changement évident non plus; un autre topic propose de mettre tout ça dans /etc/rc.conf: essayé non plus sans changement évident.

Je continue de chercher.

pour X teste avec un utilisateur neuf sans config.

Oui enfin, automatique et vive la magie :)
C'est quant même plus pratique de controler ce qu'il faut faire quant il ne sait pas.

Il faut en mettre un car les drivers intel sont à la ramasse depuis un sacré bout de temps.

Extrait du wiki d'arch sur les drivers intel, il te faut créer un xorg.conf pour controller l'acceleration et la résolution.

Il faudra dire à l'auteur de cette partie que ce n'est plus valable (du coup je me le dis à moi même :))
Les drivers intel ne sont pas à la ramasse comme tu dis, si ça fonctionne pas on peut modifier les options c'est fait pour, mais tu n'en donnes aucune et si ça fonctionne je répète ce que j'ai dis avant, mettre un xorg.conf juste pour en mettre un n'a pas de sens.
Pour la question de personnaliser, j'ai rien contre, mais là, tu dis juste qu'il en faut un sans plus d'infos.

PS: il y a un bouton "répondre", pas la peine de citer à chaque fois stp.

Au temps pour moi sur la partie arch wiki :oops: , sinon je suis désolé mais je vois souvent des problèmes liés aux drivers intel et ati, donc mon premier réflexe serait de créer un xorg.conf et de lister au fur à mesure les erreurs. Car comme tu dis sur sa partie log de xorg on voit des trucs que le ne comprends pas forcement entre autre la partie lié au chargement de vesa et intel.

@refuznik: j'ai essayé avec le xorg.conf que tu mentionne, ça ne change rien du tout au problème de ces écrans verts moches et longs au démarrage, que je le mette dans /etc/X11/xorg.conf ou dans ~/xorg.conf.

voici le xorg.conf que j'ai trouvé dans /root et que j'avais créé lors de l'installation avec X --configure ou X --config, je ne sais plus; ce avant de lire le wiki et de voir qu'il est recommandé de ne plus mettre de xorg.conf, le serveur X s'occupant de tout, sauf paramètrages particuliers.

si si, dans /etc/hosts, on peut mettre plusieurs noms d'alias pour une machine, comme ici "myhost" (nom d'origine pour les sans imagination comme moi), "aas" "aas1410" (pour acer aspire 1410).
Je ne sais plus où je l'ai lu, et je crois que ça sert si on met pour nommer des serveurs différents sur la même machine, avec ensuite des noms différents pour apache... je ne m'avancerais pas trop, j'ai complétement oublié pourquoi j'avais essayé ça: peut-être juste pour bidouiller!

Je vais en enlever, voir si ça améliore les choses.

est ce que t'as modifié des choses dans gdm ?

pour le nouvel utilisateur, je pensais à lancer startx tout court sans gdm histoire de voir si c'est X ou autre chose, sans lancer gdm.
