[clavier] console et arch ok, gdm KO

bonsoir,

le problème est le suivant et je n'arrive pas à le résoudre :

j'ai bien le clavier français dans la console sous arch ainsi que dans le ttx etc.

Par contre, lorsque je me loggue sous gdm s'est toujours un clavier qwerty qui est reconnu.

Dans rc.conf et concernant Xorg c'est ok , où est-ce que ça peut encore pêcher ?

Un "setxkbmap fr" dans le .xinitrc ?

@Ricard: gdm n'a que faire du .xinitrc.

Tu as correctement modifié 10-evdev.conf ? On peut voir les logs de X et de gdm (/var/log/) ?

Tout à l'air correct cependant.

C'est peut-être ce problème que certains ont, apparemment avec un clavier sans fil (par contre, je ne vois rien dans ton log qui indique si c'est du sans-fil ou alors j'ai trop vite regardé):

Ça ne sera pas ça, alors.
C'est seulement gdm qui est en qwerty ou une fois sous ton compte c'est la même chose (sans avoir changé de disposition clavier après, bien sûr -- en admettant que tu puisses...) ? À tout hasard, il faudrait jeter un oeil dans les logs de gdm (je ne sais pas trop comment ils sont organisés par contre) ?

EDIT: par contre, essaie de mettre à jour, il y a des mises à jour du kernel et d'udev aujourd'hui.

je confirme tout est bien en clavier français sauf la fenêtre de connection de gdm.

J'ai bien appliqué ces maj ce matin et comme tu l'as vu je suis sous virtualbox pour arch le temps de m'y habituer et puis si j'arrive à gérer
ça sera sur le netbook.

Question : je n'ai pas trouvé sur le site de tuto sur comment interprêter les logs de Xorg et je serais franchement intéressé de savoir le faire car je pense
que ça me permettrait de résoudre pas mal de problèmes.

En gros: dans la première partie il te raconte comment il est lancé (kernel, versions, configuration, etc.). Ensuite, c'est configuration matériel par matériel. Sachant qu'il y a des erreurs qui même indiquées comme telles n'en sont pas vraiment (EE), par exemple (EE) Failed to load module "fbdev" (module does not exist, 0) (parce que X tente de charger les modules qu'il connaît, mais que ceux-ci ne sont pas forcément installés parce que, de toutes manières, c'est pas eux qu'on souhaite utiliser)... et des comportements bizarres (l'extinction configurée comme un clavier aussi :mrgreen: ). :)

Du coup, on voit bien que pour ton clavier, il respecte bien le "fr" / "latin9" donc pourquoi gdm ne suit pas, je ne comprends pas. À cause de virtualbox ? (mais je ne vois pas pourquoi ça fonctionnerait avec ton utilisateur... à moins qu'il ait sa propre disposition de configuré). Il faudrait peut-être faire le tour du/des logs de gdm... (tu peux aussi tester d'autres gestionnaires de connexion, lxdm par exemple, qui ne te demandera pas de configuration supplémentaire, histoire de voir si ça vient de gdm). :|
