Salutations.
J'ai besoin de vos lumières, je patauge...

Pour être concis, bootchart m'indique 19 secondes pour charger le système, et c'est effectivement ce que je constate jusqu'à une invite fugaçe console.

Ensuite, mon soucis :
ecran noir pendant une vingtaine de seconde, invite de session, mot de passe, et re-vingtaine de seconde avant d'avoir un bureau fonctionnel.


Est ce normal à votre avis ?

Mon système est à jour, j'use "pacman -Syu" et "yaourt -Syua" tous les deux jours.
Ma config matérielle est aussi dans ma signature, j'ai installé BBSWITCH et bumblebee, c'est fonctionnel.
par contre, j'ai tatonné à l'install entre les pilotes vidéo, je me demande si mon soucis ne viendrait pas de là...

Je boote avec Grub2 installé depuis ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Comme indiqué dans ma signature, j'utilise un triple boot. Ubuntu est plus une "réminiscence" qu'un outil régulier d'ailleurs...

2. J'ai l'impression que mon lecteur BD/graveur DVD est HS. Savez vous comment le vérifier (ma machine n'a qu'un an, ça me parait un peu bizarre quand même...)
Pour ce bonus, dites moi s'il est préférable d'ouvrir un nouveau post, pas de soucis.

si tu utilises wicd faut enlever network des daemons,après pour le reste je sais pas .

Bonjour,

+1 pour le network, il doit être désactivé si tu utilise wicd. Il me semble aussi que tu peux enlever le bbswitch dans les daemons et plutôt le mettre dans les modules dans ton rc.conf.

Sinon, pour moi aussi le lancement de gdm est lent avant et après authentification mais je m'en suis accomodé, car cela a toujours été plus ou moins le cas :). Ce n'est de toute façon pas un login manager très léger. :pastaper:
Quand vous avez tout essayé, lisez le mode d'emploi...

Sinon +1 pour le network dans le rc.conf, je te dirais même que c'est mieux de ne pas prendre l'habitude de le mettre avant dbus dans la liste des daemons ....(enfin; là pour le coup tu le vire complètement vu que tu utilises wicd)

je viens de rebooter et tout fonctionne, bbswitch inclus donc ça baigne.

reste le CPU, j'ai parcouru les liens, merci widapit, et je vais m'y atteler quand j'aurais un peu de temps

et enfin, le GDM trop lent... je suis pas le seul, OUF ! ^^
Par contre, est-ce que ça veut dire qu'il est préférable de se tourner vers des solutions de gestionnaire de connexion plus léger comme SLIM pour accélerer ce temps de latence ?

En effet, slim est plus léger, je ne sais pas si ce sera significatif... tu peux essayer...
