bonjour,
Je n'arrive pas à modifier la résolution de mon eeepc 901.
Erreur: exceeds panel dimensions
Existerait-il une astuce pour avoir une plus grande résolution sur un eeepc?

Ça dépend de la résolution supportée par ton écran (et par la carte graphique)... Si oui, alors c'est que X n'est pas capable de la détecter correctement :( . Tu as jeté un oeil sur: http://wiki.archlinux.fr/Xorg#Configuration_de_l.27.C3.A9cran ? (... c'est quoi ce "$" sur la ligne Modeline de ton monitor.conf ? :| )

J'ai copié à partir de la console...je corrige...

J'ai trouvé une astuce avec xrandr.

Cette syntaxe est un contournement, j'avais le même problème que le posteur avec le cuseur.

mais s'il existe une solution via un fichier de conf de Xorg.

L'applet de Fewt, Jupiter et jupiter-support-eee dans AUR devrait te convenir; on peut modifier de nombreux paramètres, notamment la résolution d'écran:

Sinon, il existe newrez ( http://gtk-apps.org/content/show.php?co ... orumpage=1 ) qui fonctionne aussi.
