J'ai mis le code suivant dans mon ~/.xinitrc

exec gnome-session
mais lorsque je fais startx un écran bleu apparait puis plus rien

J'ai regardé le resultats de startx dans le journal /var/log/Xorg.0.log il y avait des erreurs de type xf86 (probablement du a la carte graphique) j'ai déplacé les fichier de configuration de /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d dans /etc/X11/ et relancé la détection des périphérique et les erreurs ont disparu.

J'ai encore des erreurs "vesa", "mode setting" et "fbdev" dont les modules n'existerait pas, mais je ne pense pas que c'est du a ces module car sur une autre install j'ais les 3 même érreurs et ca ne pose pas de problémes.

Efectivement il y avait déja ce probléme, je ne l'avais pas vu :? ce qui est bizarre vu que j'ai installé xorg aprés avoir fait la mise a jour compléte du systéme, J'ai fait une mise a jour et ca y est il ma trouvé linux 3.7.4.

Pourtant le probléme n'est pas résolu.

Est ce que le probléme viendrait d'une ou de ces deux erreur??
De plus je n'ai pas trouvé le log de gnome, gnome se serait t'il mal installé? ou je ne cherche pas au bon endroit? (var/log)

De la première sans doute, vu que yelp est utilisé par gnome. Enlève le paquet yelp du cache de pacman (/var/cache/pacman/pkg/) et réinstalle-le.

Comment puis je résoudre le probléme du a libvte car il n'est pas dans les paquets, il doit être surement avec un autre paquet, pouvez vous me dire lequel?

vte3 (toujours en relation avec gnome). Tu peux le savoir soit par pacman -Qo /usr/lib/libvte2_90.so, soit en utilisant pkgfile. :chinois:
Bizarre tout de même tout ça... :?

Pour les logs de gnome, je ne sais plus... ça avait changé avec gnome3, tuxce l'avait dit sur un sujet, mais je ne me rappelle plus (et vu que je n'ai plus gnome...)... :oops:

Je pense qu'il faut voir du coté des log de gnome, mais il demeure introuvable, malgrés mes recherche sur :google:

Fais l'essai avec un utilisateur vierge, si ça fonctionne tu pourras toujours déplacer tes dossiers et en changer les permissions (sinon, je ne sais pas... on voit bien des "CRITICAL", mais n'utilisant plus gnome depuis un moment, aucune idée de ce qui est tolérable de ce qui ne l'est pas :( ).

Au fait, à tout hasard, tu as fais l'essai de te connecter via gdm plutôt que via startx ?

Salut,

je crois me souvenir que j'avais un problème similaire lors de mon install de gnome3.
J'ai vérifié, et je vois que j'ai supprimé la ligne "exec gnome-session" dans mon "~/.xinitrc"
Tu peux toujours essayer...

J'avais essayé au début de passer par gdm mais ca n'avais pas fonctionné, maintenant que les problémes de yelp et de vte3 on été résolu je n'ai pas réassayé, je teste ca et je vous dit si ca fonctionne.

Je dois déja remettre en état le systéme, j'ai eu un probléme suite a la dérniére mise a jour, ce qui va prendre un peu de temps.

J'ai été obligée de réinstalle le système, car il était trop endommagé, je n'ai pas pu le sauver :|
Domage j'aurai aimée de voir ce qui n'allait pas.

La il n'y a plus aucun problème, je n'ai plus que les erreurs de vesa, modesettings et fbdev.

Le problème était peu être du à la version de xorg, et que tout le reste à raté?, ou de l'installe du paquet "base" en chroot?

Ps: écrire "exécuter gnome-session" dans le ~/.xinitrc fonctionne très bien, (j'ai testé).

@FoolEcho : Je ne l'ai pas résolu par traitrise car comme je l'ai mis dans mon précedant message c'est du a un probléme de mise a jour que j'ai du tout réinstallée et il y avait trop de probléme pour réparer, et pas a cause de gnome :)
