upgraded xorg-server (1.4.0.90-6 -> 1.4.0.90-7)
Actuellement dans [testing]:
N'oubliez pas sinon vous vous retrouverez avec un clavier QWERTY au démarrageATTENTION!
Since xorg-server version 1.4.0.90-7 hal support has
been enabled. By default keyboard layouts and variants
will now be overridden by hal. Please modfiy
/etc/hal/fdi/policy/11-xkeyboard.fdi
to suit your needs and restart X.
Furthermore, if you want to take full advantage of the
new hotplug features, please consider installing
xf86-input-evdev
Ceci dit, une fois que le truc sera rôdé, xorg sera quand même bien plus simple à configurer (sauf qu'il faudra configurer HAL)
Je vous donne mon nouveau xorg.conf COMPLET (qui marche sous compiz):
Code : Tout sélectionner
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "mitsubishi"
HorizSync 30.0 - 115.0
VertRefresh 50.0 - 160.0
EndSection
Section "Device"
Identifier "geforce4"
Driver "nvidia"
Option "NoLogo" "1"
Option "RenderAccel" "true"
Option "backingstore" "true"
Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "True"
Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"
Option "TripleBuffer" "True"
Option "DisableGLXRootClipping" "true"
Option "Coolbits" "1"
Option "UseEdidFreqs" "1"
Option "NoBandWidthTest" "1"
Option "CursorShadow" "true"
EndSection
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen 1"
Device "geforce4"
Monitor "mitsubishi"
DefaultDepth 24
SubSection "Display"
Viewport 0 0
Depth 24
Modes "1600x1200" "1280x1024" "1024x768"
EndSubSection
EndSection
Par contre les règles 11-xkeyboard.fdi sont écrasées à chaque mise à jour du paquetage
Edit: Après un petit test, voilà mon xorg final et complet avec compiz+nvidia:
Code : Tout sélectionner
Section "Device"
Identifier "geforce4"
Driver "nvidia"
Option "NoLogo" "1"
EndSection
