Ce matin X refuse obstinément de démarrer...

Voilà le message apprès un startx en user en tty1
xauth : creating new authority file /home/jacques/.serverauth.3961

/etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc : Line 1 : /usr/bin/x/ aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

/etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc : Line 1 : /usr/bin/x/ : impossible d'exécuter : aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

Giving up

xinit : no such file or directory (errno 2) : unable to connect to x server

xinit : no such process (errno 3) : server error
Si vous avez une idée. parce que là, moi... :roll:

Regarde le contenu de ton fichier /etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc .
Tu dois normalement avoir

Code : Tout sélectionner

exec /usr/bin/X
Apparement ce n'est pas ce que tu as. Une mise à jour foireuse ou une édition de fichier qui s'est mal passé ?

Les WW c'est les warnings, et là ça dit juste que t'as des définitions de répertoire de polices qui n'existent pas

Essaie aussi de renommer ton xorg.conf normalement, il n'y en a plus besoin.

Dqns tous les cqs poste ton /var/log/Xorg.0.log (de arch)

Sinon je serais obligé de passer :D
Plus ça rate, plus ça a de chance de réussir. En somme, un succès n'est qu'une erreur qui a finit par réussir (même par erreur). Ne déséspérez donc pas et perseverez. Utilisez La Rache™

Ha ben voilà, t'as plus de binaire Xorg.
Je suppose qu'une réinstallation du groupe xorg voir même de xorg-server devrait suffir.

Donc : Boot sur arch, reste en mode console, et pacman -S xorg-server

Avant de relancer X, vérifie bien que le binaire /usr/bin/Xorg est bien présent

Plus ça rate, plus ça a de chance de réussir. En somme, un succès n'est qu'une erreur qui a finit par réussir (même par erreur). Ne déséspérez donc pas et perseverez. Utilisez La Rache™
