[Xorg/lightDM/i3WM] Latence lors de l'ouverture des fenêtres

Bonjour à tous, je suis nouveau sur le forum.

Pour commencer, je vais me présenter, ça fait 4 ans que je travaille sous Linux, ancien utilisateur Debian j'ai franchi le cap et je suis passé sous Arch il y a une semaine.

Mon installation Arch: Xorg, lightDM, i3WM en utilitaire graphique et en terminal Termite. J'ai aussi séparé boot, tmp, var, usr et home sur des partitions différentes, et chiffré/LVM la partition root.

J'avais anciennement la même configuration avec ma distribution Debian, excepté Konsole au lieu de termite et tout sous la même partition.

Mon souci avec cette nouvelle installation lorsque j'ouvre un terminal, je remarque un temps de latence de 1/2s (le temps que termite s'ouvre et applique le thème base16 color). J'ai testé avec urxvt et c'est la même. Je trouve que l'affiche des fenêtres est ralentie et moins propre qu'avec ma dernière installation.
Lors de la fermeture j'ai aussi un temps de latence ou je vois le fond d'écran avant que l'autre fenêtre se resize.
J'aimerais savoir comment débuger ce souci, et trouver d'ou viens le problème. Auriez-vous des pistes svp ?

Salut,

Faudrait tester avec un autre environnement graphique (xorg directement, dwm voire même un environnement de bureau)... éventuellement regarder dans les logs de X et de ta session utilisateur (même si ça m'étonnerait que quoi que ce soit de pertinent y figure).

Pas sûr mais par rapport à ce que tu décris je me demande si tu as installé un compositeur (compton par exemple)...

Salut, merci pour la réponse

J'ai testé de lancer i3 directement avec xorg, toujours pareil. J'ai aussi essayé avec awesome et toujours le même problème de latence avec un effet saccadé lors de l'ouverture/fermeture des fenêtres.

J'ai regardé les logs et en effet rien de bien pertinent, sinon je n'ai pas installé de compositeur.

Je me demande si le fait d'avoir chiffré le ssd ne ralentit pas les performances ou autre ? Car quand j'ouvre un terminal (j'y ai appliqué un thème couleur.) le terminal s'ouvre en blanc puis 0,5s après applique le thème couleur puis seulement après affiche le prompt.

J'ai aussi eu à faire face à des ralentissements : ouverture d'un ficher avec vim et il s'ouvre 2s après. (Je ne comprends pas le pc est neuf avec un sdd).

Sinon je ne vois pas quoi tester de plus.
