Je viens d'installer une carte graphique AMD Radeon HD 5770 sur mon PC vieillissant (voir plus bas toutes les caractéristiques), et je rencontre un problème inattendu : la carte est bien reconnue et fonctionne, mais plus je n'ai plus accès à internet et mon fond d'écran habituel est remplacé par celui de Xfce (le bleu avec la souris grassouillette). Je précise que j'ai paramétré Xfce pour aller normalement chercher mes fonds d'écrans dans /usr/local/share/fond-ecran. J'utilise une connection filaire et je n'avais jamais eu de problème de réseau jusqu'ici.
Je n'ai fait aucun changement logiciel lors de l'installation de la carte [EDIT]En fait si, j'ai installé cf86-video-ati et mesa-vdpau, je l'avais oublié mais ça n'a rien à voir, cf solution dans mon dernier post ![/EDIT] : je ne cherche pas la performance pour jeu vidéo, juste que ça ne lag plus quand je regarde un film, et après une heure de visionnage d'un fichier avi en pein écran je n'ai constaté aucun problème (alors que j'en avais, même en mode fenêtre sur un demi-écran). Pas pu tester avec un film sur internet vu que je n'y ai plus accès quand la carte est branchée...
Si je débranche l'alimentation de la carte et que je redémarre, pas de souci, j'ai à nouveau le réseau et mon fond d'écran.
Si je démarre sur une iso de Manjaro avec la carte graphique alimentée, pas de souci non plus : tout est reconnu et fonctionne, la carte comme le réseau (pour le fond d'écran je ne sais pas, vu que je suis sur le compte utilisateur du live).
J'avais eu des problèmes de freeze après l'installation d'Arch à cause du chipset graphique de ma carte mère, vieux de 2007 et mal supporté par Xorg. Avec le paquet xf86-vido-intel ça fonctionne, voir la discussion sur ce sujet ici :

Mais pour ne plus avoir de lags pendant la lecture de films, j'ai estimé qu'il était temps d'investir dans une GPU... à 20 euros sur leboncoin.
