[kernel-2.6.31] Perte du support USB

Bonjour à tous,
suite à une mise à jours de mon pc, j'ai perdu le support de l'usb. Je pense que cela viens du nouveau noyau. De plus je tiens à preciser que même la commande fdisk -l ne detecte pas les clé usb que j'introduit.

La même... Enfin presque, en fait, il n'y a que mon DD usb (en fat32) qui soit totalement invisible. Je sais que ce n'est pas un problème materiel puisque si je passe par Back Track ou Mint, il est reconnu et monté immédiatement. Par contre un DD usb en ntfs ou une clef usb en fat16 est reconnu sans problème... :shock: J'ai 2 pc à la maison qui tourne sur Arch, les deux me font la même chose.

Comme la mise à jour que j'ai faite est assez grosse, j'ai encore du mal à déterminer si c'est bien un problème de kernel.

tu utilises gnome? ou tu as devicekit-disks d'installé?
il y a une incompatibilité entre ce paquet et libatasmart, si tu peux t'en passer, désinstalle le sinon regarde si installer libatasmart depuis aur résoud le problème.

Merci Tuxce (encore une fois), remplacer libatasmart 14 par le 15 (celui de AUR) résoud effectivement le problème. D'ailleurs c'est un bug connu depuis la sortie de gnome 2.28, ils en parlent sur le forum Anglais.

yaourt libatasmart
Tu auras en retour une liste, il te suffit de donner le numéro pour l'installer. Si tu installe le libatasmart de AUR, le remplacement se fait automatiquement, pas besoin de desinstaller celui d'extra. Rien ne t'empêchera par la suite de réinstaller celui d'extra quand la mise à jour officielle aura lieu. Et sinon on peut mettre les paquets d'AUR à jour

ça dépend du périphérique et bien sûr, c'est pour ceux qui ont les paquets que j'ai cité.

mais bon ils vont le supprimer parce que ça ne suit pas les règles, un package dans aur ne peut pas avoir le même nom qu'un autre dans un dépôt officiel.

sinon, faut se documenter sur abs, refaire un paquet en se basant sur celui existant est d'une simplicité déconcertante surtout quand c'est juste le numéro de version à changer (et le md5sum bien sûr)

Merci beaucoup, tes lignes de commande fonctionnent très bien et ont résolu le problème, effectivement.

Juste pour ne pas mourir idiot : En fait, c'est un espèce de mini-fichier pour Package AUR que tu m'as fait tapé ? Est-ce que libatasmart continuera de se mettre à jour normalement via extra si une version plus récente apparait ?
Sinon, comment se fait-ce que tu aies pu trouvé cette version sur AUR alors que via mon terminal et via la plateforme Web de AUR, je n'ai trouvé que libatasmart-git ?

Pour essayer de te répondre :
- Tu n'as pas desinstaller le Libatasmart d'extra, donc normalement lorsque le paquetage se mettra à jour, et que la version d'extra sera supérieure à celle de AUR, elle devrait remplacer celle que tu viens d'installer (que l'on me fouette si je raconte n'importe quoi)

- A prioris, le libatasmart dont je me suis servis dans AUR a été supprimé juste après, lorsque je tape "yaourt libatasmart", je ne le trouve plus, la ligne que t'as fait taper Tuxce te permet de le récupérer directement sur AUR (le cache?).

ps : ce serait sympa de mettre le post en résolu si la solution donnée ici à permis à mOg de résoudre son problème.

Ca fait plaisir de voir que ce sujet a bien évoluer en mon absence.
tu utilises gnome? ou tu as devicekit-disks d'installé?
Pour repondre à tuxce, je n'ai ni l'un, ni l'autre d'installé, je suis sous openbox.

avant de brancher ta clé, lance dans un terminal:

tail -f /var/log/messages.log
mets une séparation entre les lignes avec [entrée] et branché la, puis poste ce qui se rajoute.
(attends un peu genre 20 sec, histoire d'avoir la totalité s'il y a une détection qui prend du temps).

@Bismut, le lien que je t'ai passé n'est autre que le lien normal pour accéder à une archive AUR, j'ai tenté pour voir s'ils l'avaient enlevé pour de vrai, c'était pas le cas, ils ont juste enlevé l'accès par l'application web.

qu'est ce que tu as de spécial dans ton ordi, le noyau est recompilé, t'as modifié les initscripts? installé une version spéciale depuis aur ?

t'as eu une erreur lors de l'install du noyau ? tu en as gardé un ancien ?

Ca fait pratiquement un an que j'utilise ce système. Mais je n'ai pas le souvenir d'avoir modifié le noyau, ou les initscripts.
Et de plus, je suis bien sur le noyau 2.6.31 et je précise que ce pc fonctionnait très bien avant la mise à jours du noyau.
Il va peut-etre falloir envisagé une réinstallation, mais ca serait embêtant.
