[tty & redémarrage] impossible

Bonjour,

j'ai terminé l'installation/configuration d'Arch sur un vieux portable mais j'ai un problème pour l'éteindre l'arrêter et accéder aux tty quand je suis sur la session utilisateur: ctrl+alt+F1/F2-F6 me donne un écran noir sans rien, l'ordi freeze.
Mais avant de lancer X j'ai accès aux tty 1 à 6.

le menu.lst: j'étais avec avec "vga=775" sur la ligne kernel (supprimer car apparemment source de problèmes)

Question que l'on ne devrai pas demander les logs ? le fichier Xorg.conf si existant ? le type de carte graphique ? le driver utilisé ? De plus je ne vois pas trop la pertinence de mettre le fichier de grub comme celui de l'inittab...
Tu le dis toi même que c'est X qui plante....

Le fichier grub parce que j'ai cru comprendre qu'il est possible d'avoir un souci avec le framebuffer (vga=).

xorg.conf: il n'y en a pas
Driver vidéo: aucune modification faite, j'ai juste installé xorg et xf86-input-evdev, donc vesa par défaut (?)
Carte graphique: ATI Rage Mobility P/M
LES fichiers log oui mes les quelles? il y en a presque 30...
Comme le problème vient probablement d'X voici le fichier Xorg.0.log

Pré-release version!?! C'est bien normal? Il me semble que j'ai installé xorg simplement avec pacman.

Désolé, je n'ai pas encore tes connaissances et ton pouvoir de déduction, j'apprends doucement (mais sûrement), j'image bien que ça doit être saoulant de répondre aux newbies comme moi pour des gens comme toi, tuxce ect mais grace a vous nous apprenons bien plus vite. Merci à vous.

je me suis permis d'éditer le log xorg.0.log, 1500 lignes ça fait énorme :)

de rien, et ce n'est pas saoulant du tout, au contraire, ça me permet de voir des soucis que je n'aurais pas forcément eu et de rechercher des infos dessus, (j'agresse personne moi :mrgreen: ... bon ok je m'agace pour les titres mais ça c'est saoulant )

quand ça plante:
t'as les leds qui clognotent ?
(après un ctrl+alt+f1) si tu appuies sur ctrl+alt+del, ça reboote ?

t'as accès à cette machine en ssh (ou autre) ?

Je n'ai surtout pas la prétention de savoir la solution et encore moins d'avoir un niveau supérieur a débutant dans linux.
Mais tu n'es pas non plus nouveau, c'est pas ton premier poste, donc je voulais rappeler certes beaucoup trop agressivement, que une question cela se pose bien... Et pas dire cela marche pas help, up, up (remarque général, cela ne s'adresse pas du tout a toi, enfin j'espère) :copain:

PS: @tuxce toi c'est les titres (perso je m'en fou, mais je respect le désir de ce formatage et je le comprend), moi c'est comment est pose la question... :mrgreen:

Alors: "lsmod | grep fb" aucun résultat
Quand ça plante: pas de clignotement des leds
Après un ctrl+alt+f1, ctrl+alt+del ne fait rien
Accès en ssh: openssh n'est pas installer (mais je peux essayer)
(Pour info c'est une machine de guerre > Compaq Armada E500 600Mhz, 128Mo)

si t'as la possibilité de configurer le ssh, de voir si t'y as accès, ça permettra de supprimer la possibilité d'un kernel panic.
(regarde si le ssh fonctionne quand t'es sous X, on sait jamais)
