[Freeze souris] Ralenti souris (RESOLU)

Bonjour,

Ma souris a, au moins une fois par jour, la particularité de freezer c'est à dire qu'il est impossible de la bouger ou alors elle répond au mouvement 3 minutes plus tard. (pour précision j'utilise un touchpad)
Je ne comprends pas pourquoi mais le seul indice que j'ai et qu'il me semble que ce problème survienne le plus souvent lors de l'utilisation de firefox (mais pas à un temps précis de son utilisation).

La seule "solution" pour le moment est de retourner en console tty1 et revenir en graphique après tty7. Désolé de ne pas avoir plus de précision à fournir...

Pour l'instant, ça ne me dit rien, mais tu peux sans doute fournir plus de précisions :

- Comment est configuré ton serveur X (avec ou sans fichier de conf) et surtout, as-tu une config spécifique pour ton touchpad?
- Quelle driver vidéo utilises-tu (et quelle carte)
- Quel firefox utilises-tu (beta, version stable) et dans quel environnement (i.e. est-ce la seule appli GTK lancée ou pas)

- Peux-tu fournir ton fichier /var/log/xorg.0.log ? Avec un peu de chances il y a une entrée dedans quand ça freeze.

- J'utilise Slim et Awesomewm avec un .xinitrc
Je n'ai pas de config particulière pour mon touchpad
- Ma carte vidéo est une simple intel qui utilise le driver xf86-video-intel
- J'utilise la dernière version stable de firefox (et généralement je ne fais rien tourner d'autre que cairo-dock et thunar lorsque mon problème survient)
-Voilà mon /var/log/xorg.0.log (j'ai d'ailleurs eu un souci aujourd'hui, sait-on jamais...)

Apparemment ce problème n'inspire pas grand monde :wink:

Je ne pense pas que ça aide vraiment mais sait-on jamais je propose deux constatations :

- il semblerait que ce souci survienne également aléatoirement lors de l'utilisation de wine
- le lancement de thunar résoud, la plupart du temps, le souci

Ben... heu... en effet. :copain:
Le seul truc que je vois de louche dans le log c'est l'incapacité à charger le module fbdev... ("xf86-video-fbdev" à installer ou réinstaller, qui gère le framebuffer, ça paraît donc sans grand rapport :roll: )
Pour le touchpad, tu peux essayer "xf86-input-synaptics" voir si ça change quelque chose.

C'est vraiment le pointeur qui gèle ou l'écran ?

Et erreur de ma part, j'avais déjà "xf86-input-synaptics". Dois-je le désinstaller???

Le désinstaller non, en revanche il faut invalider la section InputClass qui traite du touchpad dans /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf (en commentant les lignes avec '#') pour que le pilote synaptics soit pris en compte (ce qui ne semble pas être le cas d'après ton log).

[EDIT] Bon finalement ça n'améliore pas les choses dommages.
Et je confirme que ni la mémoire ni l'occupation du CPU ne sont augmentées lors de ces lags donc on n'est pas avancé :-P

En fait à mes débuts j'avais installé xf86-video-vesa et xf86-video-intel. Apparemment supprimer vesa semble avoir corrigé mon problème.

Ah tiens, oui.
À relire ton log, on aurait pu être plus performants, on voit bien qu'il charge les deux modules... C'est fou ça, j'apprends quelque chose : on peut avoir deux drivers de CG lancés simultanément :shock:
