[xorg] Grosse conso CPU (résolu)

Bonjour à tous ! :)

Je suis sous Arch depuis peu et j'ai un problème assez embétant qui me tient depuis que j'ai installé mon système...

Il semble que X prenne un malin plaisir a me bouffer 10 à 50% de la puissance de mon CPU selon mon utilisation. Le pire c'est quand je suis dans une Konsole et que je fais défiler des lignes ou simplement la ligne qui clignotte avant une compilation depuis AUR. Si je maximise la konsole, le système va freezer une fois sur 3 environ sans possibilité de faire quoi que ce soit...

Je penses que c'est une mauvaise configuration de mon xorg.conf mais je ne sais pas du tout quoi faire. J'ai une nvidia 9800M GTS avec le driver proprio. Mon cpu est un core 2 duo @2.53Ghz.

Quel est le contenu des log Xorg ? (Dans /var/log)
Tu ne devrai pas avoir (besoin) de xorg.conf

Ton système est bien à jour ?

C'est pas tout simplement le problème entre X et les driver proprio de Nvidia ?
J'ai été moi même pas mal ennnyé à cause de ça.

Tu n'es pas le seul dans ce cas: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=921164 .
Cela a été rapporté mais la cause n'est pas clairement établie: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/23381

Tu as plusieurs possibilités:
- désactiver les effets de bureau (panneau de contrôle de KDE)... au moins lorsque tu as besoin de redimensionner Konsole
- rétrograder xorg-server et ses dépendances en 1.9 (à partir de ton cache pacman ou ARM, cf. http://wiki.archlinux.fr/Downgrade#R.C3 ... 7un_paquet)
- passer à nouveau.

Mon système est bien à jour et j'ai deja essayé Nouveau sans résultat...
J'ai essayé de couper les effets graphiques, pareil...
La konsole est vraiment la seule application qui fait freezer.

Le bug est connu chez nvidia, il n'y a plus qu'a attendre, je l'ai reproduit 2 fois hier... J'ai pu redémarrer le PC via ssh, mais impossible de le récupérer...
Sinon non ces messages sont normaux ou presque... Il faudrait peut être installer des fonts :D Par exemple : ttf-dejavu

effectivement je n'ai pas encore installé les fonts ^^
Donc je ne peux rien faire, seulement attendre que Nvidia se bouge pour sortir un bon driver ?

Tu as plusieurs solutions :
- Attendre...
- Downgrader xorg en 1.9
- Pilote nouveau (c'est un point de vue)

Je préfère attendre...

J'ai deja essayé nouveau mais je crois que j'avais pas réussi a l'installer je me souviens plus je vais ré-essayer. Je n'ai pas très envie de downgrader xorg :/

En attendant, puisque le reste n'a pas fonctionné, il te reste cette solution. Pour la petite histoire, j'avais testé avec un nouvel utilisateur, et ce qui était plutôt bizarre est que je pouvais redimensionner Konsole en hauteur sans planter... mais en largeur, plantage systématique. :shock:

EDIT: ... grillé... mais bon, j'avais déjà parlé de ça, avant... :copain:
