[xorg]système planté après un startx(resolu)

Bonjour,

Je voudrais m'installer KDE sur mon archlinux donc je commence par installer Xorg et les pilotes de ma carte graphique (Nvidia GeForce GT 525M) j'ai donc installer : xorg-server, xorg-xinit, xorg-utils, xorg-server-utils, xorg-twm xorg-xclock xterm, xf86-video-nouveau et nouveau-firmware.

Le problème c'est que lorsque je fais un startx, mon écran devient noir et reste figé ainsi. Plus rien ne marche, plus moyen de faire CTRL+ALT+Fx pour changer de console.

Et tu as mis quoi dans ton .xinitrc ? Car s'il n'y en a pas c'est un peu normal d’obtenir un écran noir.
Tu lance bien startx en tant qu'user et non en root ?
Sinon tu es sûre d'avoir donner l'intégralité du log de Xorg ? Il ne manque pas la fin ?

ah ben non, pas de .xinitrc

Je pensais qu'il se créait tous seul.

Bon je vais me renseigner la dessus, parce que je vois pas trop quoi y mettre.

dans ton ~/.xinitrc, tu dois avoir quelquechose du style

exec wmii
(j'utilise wmii) mais le mieux serait de repotasser un peu plus le wiki .... tout est indiqué !!
et c'est normal que ctrl-alt-fx ne marche pas...puisque c'est alt-F* pour changer de console et que de toutes facons tu n'es plus sur les tty, donc ca ne changera rien mais tu peux te référé au wiki et l'install de xorg pour savoir quoi mettre pour quitter X avec ctrl-alt-bksp...
encore une fois tout est dans http://wiki.archlinux.fr/Xorg

mon ordi(Arch-hardened) = {spectrwm, zsh} || je m'amuse aussi avec des Arduino !

En tous cas, tu peux te rabattre sur le nvidia proprio (cf. wiki, attention à bien désinstaller nouveau par contre, cf. wiki).

Effectivement ce fichier existe, je l'ai donc copier ici ~/.xinitrc histoire de pouvoir le bidouiller au cas ou. Mais ça ne change rien. (pour info : pour l'instant j'ai rien modifié dedans)

Oui le log s’arrête la, si il n'est pas complet je pense que c'est du au fait que je sois obliger de couper le PC au bouton.

Même en passant par ce test le problème est le même.

Je précise que pour installer xorg j'ai bien suivis le wiki dont vous parlez mais a aucun moment il n'est préciser comment configurer son .xinitrc

Pas de bol, ce n'est pas la bonne base pour un .xinitrc (trop riche)... Il faut chercher du côté de /etc/skel/.xinitrc. :copain:

Parce que ça ne concerne pas la configuration de xorg, mais l'usage de startx. :chinois:

Si tu regardes http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/CodeNames ( NVC0 family ) , tu verras que le support de ta carte est en développement (ce que montre bien le log).
Essaie avec le pilote proprio en attendant (désinstalle nouveau, cf. wiki). :chinois:

Et ça j'ai fais aussi, J'ai viré l'ancien pilote pour mettre le pilote proprio à la place et y'a du changement...

Je m'explique, maintenant lorsque je fais mon startx, j'ai le logo nvidia qui apparait, puis quelques secondes après tout se recoupe et je me retrouve sur la console.

Non c'est pas ça je l'ai enlevé de nouveau.

Pige pas... tu n'as plus de .xinitrc (là ce serait bon => xinitrc par défaut) ou alors il est vide (et là: pas bon) ?
Parce que c'est "juste" un problème de cet ordre maintenant à priori (ton log est bon)... A la rigueur tu peux rajouter un nvidia.conf...

mon xinitrc est une copie de celui-la /etc/skel/.xinitrc

La ligne pour le couper au bout de 10sec a été enlevé.

C'est pourquoi ça ne peut pas fonctionner.
Il te faut soit un exec selon l'environnement de bureau ou le gestionnaire de fenêtres que tu veux lancer (ou n'importe quelle application graphique, comme le xterm), soit ne pas avoir de ~/.xinitrc pour laisser faire le xorg-xinit avec twm. Sans ça (c'est-à-dire sans ~/.xinitrc ou avec un ~/.xinitrc incomplet comme celui du skel), tu lances le serveur X seul, d'où écran noir. :chinois:
