Merci à vous deux

les logs postés plus haut sont ce que j'ai maintenant car il m'est impossible d'imprimer quoi que ce soit...

Car j'ai bien lancé le cupswrapper de /usr/local/Brother/Printer/dcp330c/cupswrapper/cupswrapper.
Après dans l'interface web de cups, j'ai trouvé mon imprimante mais quand je lance une impression:

j'ai: Processing - "Waiting for printer to become available."

/usr/local/Brother/Printer/dcp330c/cupswrapper/cupswrapper : le dernier nom devrait avoir le nom de modèle à la fin.

Par ailleurs, as-tu ajouté cups dans les demons lancés au démarrage dans le rc.conf ? Si oui, as-tu redémarré ta machine ? Souvent le reboot aide après une configuration d'imprimante.

PS: tu as bien installé avec AUR ?

Je vois beaucoup de paquets ici pour DCP330C, dont celui dont FoolEcho te parlait... un paquet cups-wrapper. ^^
Archlinux perdrait-il de son KISS ?

Oui je pense avoir tout bien installé.

cups est bien dans les DAEMONS.
J'ai redémarré la machine,et tout et tout

Si ça ne marche pas avec la méthode par les dépôts, essaies la méthode pas par les dépôts ? Mais avant essaie encore ceci: dans l'interface CUPS, (localhost:631), supprimes l'imprimante, puis recrées la. Ensuite, à nouveau un "./cupswrapper-dcp330C" sous /usr/Brother/printer etc... ou chose comme ça, et tentes d'imprimer une page de test. Puis rebootes, retentes... (imprimante branchée et allumée, bien sûr !)

Et peux-tu nous montrer le rc.conf à la ligne des daemons ?

Mon rc.conf est juste au dessus.
toujours rien après avoir tout refait.

Il résiste ton marsouin !

Je te conseille de tout désinstaller, l'imprimante, le ou les drivers, et d'essayer la méthode qui est présentée sur le wiki.archlinux.org :

En adaptant les parties relatives au modèle, bien sûr.

Tu peux créer la règle udev adéquate, cf. wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Cu ... ermissions.

On se rapproche, j'ai crée la regle udev, et l'imprimante est bien reconnue.

Je te mâche un peu les choses, mais que cela ne t'empêche pas de lire les deux pages en entier... en particulier, je te recommande de prêter attention à la commande gpasswd si tu as besoin de l'employer.

Je suis bien dans le groupe lp:

As-tu lu cette page du wiki ?

"sudo gpasswd -a sys xavier"

man gpasswd:

Un administrateur de groupe peut ajouter ou supprimer des utilisateurs en utilisant respectivement les options -a et -d

Je ne dis pas que ça va tout résoudre mais ça peut aider.

Après cela, imprimante visible dans cups, mais pas de possibilité d'imprimer.

Elle est bien reconnue comme imprimante, mais je n'arrive pas à changer le lp 189 en lp 666 (nécessaire pour cette imprimante) malgré:

Je suis d'accord avec FoolEcho. Et pour preuve, voici pour la partie Scanner du DCP330C (chez moi il est dans le fichier dénommé /etc/udev/rules.d/60-libsane.rules)
