[wicd] Could not connect to wicd's D-Bus

Salut a tous, j ai quelques petites questions a propos de Wicd et d archlinux en general car je debute, je viens de Lubuntu et cette distribution m interesse beaucoup et a ce que je vois il y a une communautee importante.

Lorsque je lance wicd au demarrage grace au fichier rc.conf j ai ce probleme la
===>Could not connect to wicd's D-Bus interface. Check the wicd log for error messages<======.
Je ne suis pas un habitue du sysinit mais j ai plus l habitude de systemV.
Comme dit dans la doc j ai bien mis DBUs avant wicd, network demarait au demarrage alors j ai mis ! pour le stopper.

Deja dans un premier temps dbus est un systeme IPC qui permet la communication entre processus d apres ce que j ai pu lire????Je ne connais que Berkeley sockets mais connais pas vraiment le fonctionnement a part le fait d ouvrir des sockets pour pouvoir communiquer avec les processus, quel est la difference avec dbus, pourquoi est il utilise?

Hum, ta ligne DAEMON est complètement fausse :D :copain:

Les éléments ont un ordre

De plus supprime la ligne MODULES=fglrx et créér plutôt un fichier dans /etc/modules-load.d/

arff, je ne savais pas l ordre etait important, merci!!!!, j ai change pour mon module, sinon peut tu me dire ce que apportes dbus?
et comment est possible de lancer thunar en root a par peut etre passe par un terminal :wink:

Pour faire simple, dbus est le messager entre différentes applications (Il fait passer des messages/informations). Dans ton cas (wicd), l'application graphique (wicd-gtk) l'utilise pour communiquer avec le daemon lancé en root.

Point très important sous Linux: Aucune application graphique ne devrait être lancé en root, sauf en prenant des précautions bien précise (Lancé avec kdesu ou gksu, voir avec depuis une consolé connecté en roto avec cette commande : "su -", le tiret est très important)

En règle général si tu as besoin de lancer une application graphique en root c'est qu'il y a un soucis quelque part...

salut j ai toujours un petit soucis, j ai lance wicd-gtk au demarrage sur mon interface graphique avec le gestionnaire de session xfce4 en graphique, il demarre bien, dans mon rc.conf j ai bien modifie comme tu me la dit mais je suis oblige de relance le demon wicd pour que mon interface graphique marche sinon wicd-gtk se connecte auto a mon reseau sans fil met done mais je n ai pas d adresse ip....

Mes services se lancent bien pourtant (rc.d list).

Comment tu sais que tu es connecté mais que tu n'as pas d'IP (Je veux dire par là qu'est ce que tu regardes) ? Que donne le log de Wicd aussi.
Une petite confirmation, quand tu lances wicd-gtk pour la première fois (ou s'il est déjà lancé) avec ton utilisateur, peux tu lister les connexions Wifi disponible ?
Si c'est le cas alors je crains que ce soit un bug de Wicd.

Oue c 'est bizarre desfois ca marche, j arrive a me connecter et desfois nan je ne sais pas trop pourquoi!!!!!
Voila le resultat du log wicd, j ai peut etre zape un truc ??
Mon demon wicd oki et l interface se lance en graphique avec utilisateur classique.

LA CA NE CE CONNECTE PAS
Ma carte wlan0 est up, je vois les autres reseaux mais je suis pas connecte (iwconfig).
