[synaptics] Défilement horizontal et vertical impossible

Bonjour,

J'ai installé Archlinux hier et je n'arrive pas à activé le défilement vertical et horizontal sur mon trackpad malgré mes recherches sur les wikis et forums (et malgré le fait que ça marchait sur d'autres distrib). Je pense que c'est lié au fait que Xorg ne tienne pas compte de ma configuration de Hal.

Bonjour,

Ce how-to n'explique pas comment faire reconnaitre mon fichier de configuration, c'est plus ou moins la même méthode que dans les wiki (anglais).

Mon problème est que le log de Xorg n'indique pas les même valeurs que mon fichier de configuration mais les valeurs du fichier par défaut.

Je n'avais pas vu ces fins de commentaires, ça m'apprendra à faire du copier coller sans regarder :oops:

J'ai corriger ces fautes et maintenant mon fichier passe le validateur du W3C avec un seul warning pour manque de Doctype.

Mais ça ne marche toujours pas :pleure:

J'ai toujours le même log de Xorg même après un redémarrage de la machine. Une autre idée?

pas plus qu'une autre et au moins, ça ne bloque pas pour un espace en plus ou en moins ;)
en plus, ce qui est pas reconnu n'est pas pris en compte, en gros, il faut juste faire gaffe à fermer toute balise ouverte dans l'ordre et ne pas utiliser < ou > en dehors des balises.

pour la validation, y a tellement d'utilitaires, personnellement, vu que j'ai gnome, j'utilise au cas où:

D'après le fichier de conf par défaut dans /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/11-x11-synaptics.fdi et le wiki anglophone ( http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Touchpad_Synaptics ), c'est comme ça que ça doit être écrit.

bon alors, reste plus que le fichier dans /usr/share/hal
parce que la sortie de hal-device montre qu'il y a des infos ajoutés, et par défaut, il n'y a rien d'ajouté, donc, ça provient d'un fichier, t'as modifié le /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/11-x11-synaptics.fdi avant de le copier ?

Non, je ne l'ai pas modifié (sauf si c'était involontaire et que je ne l'ai pas remarqué).

Je le poste ici pour pouvoir comparer avec le fichier de quelqu'un d'autre, si personne n'a l'envie de le faire, qu'il poste son fichier et je le ferai.

Sinon, es-tu allé jeté un œil sur ces 2 wikis, notamment le 2e qui parle des touchpads de type ALPS :

Tu as peut-être un problème de permissions au niveau de ton .fdi ou carrément du répertoire… (ls -l /etc/hal/…, ls -ld …)

Sinon, tu peux aussi voir les logs de hal, pour voir ce que ça donne si tu as d’éventuels problèmes à la lecture de tes .fdi, ou si il lit un autre fichier .fdi pour ton touchpad (who knows)…
Apparemment la config .fdi concernant ton clavier semble bien pris en compte…

Pour les permissions, ce sont les même pour le fichier du clavier et celui du touchpad (et le mappage de mon clavier est bien reconnu). Mais où sont les log de hal, je ne les trouve pas?

En fait, faut lancer le service hal de cette manière :

/usr/sbin/hald --verbose=yes --daemon=no
(et donc l’avoir arrêté auparavant…)
