[extinction brutale]crash complet (résolu)

Bonjour,

Depuis 2 semaines maintenant mon pc a un comportement étrange: il s'éteint subitement purement et simplement.
Je ne vois aucune raison logistique à ça donc je me suis penché sur le matériel. Il faut savoir que ces extinctions brutales ont lieu soit pendant le démarrege (rarement) ou quelques secondes après le passage sous X (le plus fréquemment) ou bien encore après quelques dizaines de minutes ou quelques heures (2-3 heures) d'utilisation.
J'ai fais ceci:
- vérifier mes températures de processeurs qui ne pas
- vérifier ma ram avec memtest86+ sans report d'erreur
- tenter de pousser le pc dans ses retranchements (utilisation cpu à plus de 90% et ram autant que possible) sans créer de crash.

Ma question est donc large: auriez-vous des pistes à creuser? Peut-il y avoir raison autre que matérielle (genre carte mère qui flanche)?
Mon pc a 4 ans et tourne nickel si on oublie ce souci donc ça m'ennuie d'en changer mais c'est également plus qu'agaçant d'avoir ces soucis sans pouvoir les résoudre ou les anticiper.

SOLUTION:
- installer cpupower
- régler ce dernier pour gérer la fréquence max de mes processeurs à 2.20 Ghz (fréquence max acceptée)
- ajouter la ligne options processor ignore_ppc=1 dans le fichier modprobe.conf. (ignore la limitation de fréquence imposée par le bios qui chez moi était fixée à 2021MHz)

Ma dernière mésaventure dans le genre s'est soldé par un retour au SAV de mon alim OCZ. Si tu as un autre bloc d'alim sous le coude, c'est le moment d'essayer.

J'avais également tenté la batterie au lieu du secteur pour vérifier de ce côté et pas plus de succès...

Par contre ce soir, après 3 crashs après être rentré et 10 au total dans la journée, je viens de tester un live-cd. En le lançant simplement sans rien faire mon pc n'a pas eu de souci pendant 2H. De même pas de problème non plus en chrootant le système. J'ai également refait un fsck sur mon disque dur ainsi qu'un badblocks qui n'ont reporté aucune erreur. Je me suis donc dis que le problème pouvait peut être ne pas être matériel...

J'ai donc chercher quel processus pouvait créer des extinctions brutales au démarrage, quelques minutes après le lancement de X ou bien encore des heures après... Je me suis tourné vers ma connexion internet car systemd gère mes connexions automatiquement via netcfg. J'ai donc rallumé mon pc en désactivant seulement internet. Plus précisément je n'ai pas mis de câble eth ni activer le bouton wifi mais j'ai laissé les services netcfg se lancer avec systemd. Après 2H aucun crash. J'ai ensuite réactiver une connexion internet (via la console) et là crash après 10 minutes.
Je ne vois pas le lien entre ma connexion internet et mon souci mais il semble que j'ai pu mettre le doigt sur quelque chose alors si quelqu'un a une idée je suis preneur!

Bon déjà finalement "l'astuce" internet ne fonctionne plus ce matin donc c'était une fausse bonne piste...
Reste vrais mes tests matériel. A noter, si ça peut aider, que le matin lors du "1er" allumage le pc crash au moins7 fois consécutives (en tenant à chaque fois 1 ou 2 secondes de plus) avant de se "stabiliser" pour quelques heures.

Sinon FoolEcho je suis en full systemd et je n'ai rien dans journalctl (vu que c'est une extinction pure et simple je ne sais pas si un log aurait le temps d'enregistrer quelque chose). Y'a-t-il d'autres logs à regarder?

Après quelques heures avec le noyau linux-lts tout semble être rentré dans l'ordre. Donc déjà je suis heureux de ne pas avoir à racheter un pc, merci foolecho :bisous:

Par contre y'a-t-il quelque chose à tenter pour pouvoir faire tourner mon système sous le noyau linux simple ou dois-je simplement attendre une mise à jour de ce noyau puis retenter l'expérience? Je demande car sous le noyau lts il y a quand même quelques petits supports matériels non optimisés pour mon système même si au moins je peux m'en servir et par exemple je ne peux plus utiliser VirtualBox (sauf si je le downgrade forcément)?

Vu que tu n'as pas le problème avec le noyau stable, il s'agit sans doute d'une régression donc j'imagine que tu peux attendre une prochaine mise à jour (éventuellement faire remonter le bug sur kernel.org, si ça n'est pas déjà fait... mais sans log ou info ça ne va pas faire avancer grand-chose). Sinon rétrograder le noyau.

Avec le lts, il y a peut-être des modules qu'il te faut charger manuellement. Kernel_modules

Je reviens pour apporter une précision sur ce sujet.

Le souci semble, je pense, lié au bug décrit sur https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=151341. Ca explique au passage pourquoi j'ai dû réparer ma partition /home. Pour résumer il s'agit d'un bug affectant les partitions ext4 après le kernel 3.6.2.
Toujours pas de solution viable mais bon un progès peut être...

EDIT: je ne lâche pas l'affaire et ai trouvé, je pense, la raison de ce bug. En fait ça provient d'une incompatilité entre mon dual core et mon horloge. En effet, le journal m'informe "marking tsc unstable due to check_tsc_sync_source failed", erreur qui n'existe pas avec le kernel lts. Donc plus qu'à attendre une mise à jour du noyau en espérant qu'un patch soit appliqué car, pour le moment, j'ai cherché sur la toile mais je n'ai pas trouvé de solution efficace.

Je ré-ouvre ce sujet car la solution de passer par linux-lts est fonctionnelle mais malgré 3 mises à jour du kernel de base je ne peux toujours pas utilier ce dernier sans rencontrer à nouveau des extinctions brutales sans raison.
J'ai cherché un peu partout mais je n'ai pas trouvé de solution. Ne sachant plus où chercher je vous mets la sortie de 'journaltl' (sur 2 posts car ça ne rentre pas en 1) en espérant que vous puissiez y déceler un souci pouvant être réglé... Merci.

On comprend pourquoi le noyau lts fonctionne puisqu'un 'journalctl' avec ce noyau ne sortira, par exemple, rien concernant AGP, NUMA, VGA, TSC ou problème de montage de /tmp (tant de différences et donc de pistes potentielles).

Tu lances le noyau lts de la même manière ? As-tu fait le nécessaire pour cet init avec systemd ? Ou essayé sans (sans cet init, mais avec systemd bien sûr :) ) ?

Je m'étais juste posé une question depuis mon passage en full systemd: dans ce cas il n'est plus utile de préciser d'init or dans le fichier de conf de e4rat il faut préciser un init qui sera lancé donc je ne sais pas si continuer de lancer systemd au boot avec un système full systemd peut poser problème?
De toute façon je lance lts de la même manière et j'ai tenté sans e4rat et j'obtiens la même chose.

Comme dit plus haut, je ne sais pas si c'est important ou non, les soucis qui m'inquiètent à première vue dans le log (et qui n'appraîssent pas avec lts) sont :

Concernant /tmp j'ai déjà ajouté 'SystemMaxUse=50M' dans /etc/systemd/journald.conf ainsi que créer un fichier /etc/tmpfiles.d/remove-private-tmp.conf contenant 'r /var/tmp/systemd-private-* - - - - -' mais sans changement.

EDIT: je me suis déparassé des erreurs concernant AGP, NUMA et fb... subsistent donc celles concernant TSC et /tmp car mon pc est toujours instable avec le kernel de base.

Bon malgré des semaines de recherche et un bon paquet de modifications concernant de possibles suspects (synaptics, intel, mesa...) je suis toujours "obligé" d'utiliser le noyau lts car le noyau de base est toujours instable.

Je laisse donc ce sujet ouvert même si il semble perdre l'ensemble de la communauté autant que moi. Par contre pencheriez-vous sur un bug kernel ou suis-je le seul concerné? (car à part des mises à jour via pacman je ne vois pas ce que j'ai pu faire qui engendre ça et surtout uniquement sous le noyau de base)

PS: je ne sais pas si ça peut aider mais j'ai également essayé le noyau ck sans plus de succès.

Le hic est que si le crash ne s'accompagne d'aucune info côté journaux, qu'on ne sait pas le reproduire, etc., on ne peut pas deviner à moins d'un coup de bol. :(
Le manque d'infos laisse à penser que ça pourrait bien être un kernel panic (du genre qui ne laisse pas d'infos en plus)...

À tout hasard, tu peux nous poster les services et modules lancés via le kernel récent et le stable (systemctl / lsmod)... dès fois qu'il y a ait une différence flagrante entre les deux (mais ça m'étonnerait).
Tu as vérifié si un processus ne s'affolait pas en cours d'utilisation ? (vu que ça s'éteint, on ne peut même pas explorer ce qui se passe via ssh par exemple)

Plus pertinent (j'espère) serait journalctl après un crash. Il faudrait que tu actives la rotation des journaux ( directement, http://wiki.archlinux.fr/Systemd#Taille , ou si tu utilises logrotate/cron/syslog-ng, http://wiki.archlinux.fr/Cron#Archivage_des_logs ).

(et nous poster seulement la partie consécutive à un crash, dès fois que ça n'arrive pas tout de suite)
