J'ai un problème similaire à ce topic http://forums.archlinux.fr/topic13965.html, sauf que mon erreur vient du pilote "nouveau".
Les configurations de mon portable

Processeur Intel core i3
RAM 4G
Carte graphique : VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GT218M [GeForce 310M] (rev a2)

Au niveau des paquets la liste ci-dessous et XFCE4

Kernel : linux 3.10.6-2

Dans XFCE, j'ai paramètré pour l'ordinateur passe en veille lorsque je ferme le capot de mon portable. Lorsque j'ouvre mon capot pour réutiliser mon portable, j'ai droit à un bel écran noir qui ressemble à celui de startx quend on installe et test Xorg, si je fais Crtl+Alt+F1 pour aller sur tty, ça prend au moins 2-3 minutes avant d'accèder au tty et j'ai ce message qui défile à l'écran

Il doit y avoir un souci avec le pilote, j'attends des suggestions de votre part. Je précise que ce comportement n'est pas lié à une mise à jour récente car ce comportement dure depuis que j'ai installé Arch sur mon portable.
