[CG] arch et gtx980 ?? soucis

Salut a tous
je suis nouveau chez vous, c'est mon tout premier post et surement pas le dernier
installation enfin finie de arch et premier soucis
jai decidé de mettre le bureau cinnamon pour tester
et il est ecrit en haut a droite
Execution en mode de rendu du logiciel
Cinnamon est actuellement en cours d'execution sans acceleration materielle ....
j'en deduis que ma carte graphique n'est pas installé
contrairement au meme soucis que sous ubuntu j'ai deja mes 2 ecrans dallumés par contre comme sous ubuntu (javais eu le meme soucis) jentends ma carte graphique qui ventile fort. Hors quand elle est installé elle s'autogère ...
enfin bon j'ai deja fouillé un peu sans réponse fiable qqn peut -il m'aider ?
Petit detail en plus lors de linstallation jarrivais sur ma session je rentrais mon mot de pass et là, laffichage crashait (ecran noir), jappuyais sur le bouton d'alim ca mettait mon ordi en veille, je reappuyait dessus le pc sortait de veille et laffichage revenait 30min de route pour rentrer chez moi je nai plus ce probleme...
dsl pour les fautes partout il faut que je trouve comment acriver le retro eclairage de mon clavier ^^ ca sera surement mon second post ... mais jai pas encore cherché de ce coté la

Quel est le driver graphique que tu as installé ?
Peux tu donner le log de Xorg ?

je n'ai pas installé de driver graphique
dans le tuto suivi j'ai installé le nouveau mais j'ai été surpis que le driver fasse a peine 1Mo

non je suis pas tres precis dans ce que je raconte
j'ai installé le nouveau qui marche pas car un driver d'à pe pres 1 Mo jai pas encore vu
ensuite j'ai essayé les autres posibilité
touours un message d'erreur disant quil ne toruvait pas ce que je demandais
car le tuto que j'ai trouvé demandais de remplacer par la version recente les xx, je vais donc sur nvisia.com je regarde lka derniere version je lance la commande et pareil il me dit quil ne connait pas
voila pourquoi je pense que je nai rien instalé et que je pense aussi ne pas savoir quelle commande utiliser car celle des tutos ne fonctionne pas ...

Je ne sais pas ce que tu as fait, tu ne le dis pas. Mais en aucun cas utiliser ce que tu peux trouver sur internet (NVIDIA.com inclus).
Lit le wiki ! Et installe avec pacman ! Et dis nous exactement ce que tu fais, ligne de commande et sortie complète

Alors pour les lib32 c'est uniquement nécessaire si tu as des applications en 32 bits et que tu as le dépôt multilib d'activé. Bref ce n'est pas un problème.
Donne le log de Xorg à nouveau de préférence via un site de type pastebin, après avoir redémarré bien sur !

Il faudrait vraiment que tu sois plus clair dans tes questions.
Si je comprend bien tu as plusieurs écrans et tu voudrais configurer leurs dispositions ? Si oui cela ce fait via un fichier de configuration dans xorg.conf.d
Dit nous exactement ce que tu veux faire, et on pourra t'aider à créer le fichier de configuration

bon je vais essayer d'etre clair
a la base je suis venu parce que je n'arrivais pas installer ma carte graphique
maintenant je pense que j'ai reussi car j'ai acces a un programme nvidia de configuration de CG et d'ecran et que dans celui ci il parle de ma GTX980 comme reconnue a premire vue.
maintenant phase N°2, pareil que sous ubuntu quand je configure un peu il ne retient rien, je redemarre et jai tout perdu, entre autre le fait que mon ecran N°1 soit un 144he. Je lui dit il applique je redemarre il a oublié. Probleme que sous mint je n'ai pas eu je lui ai dit 1 fois il a enregistré et cetait fini.
1ere question : es tu d'accord avec moi pour dire que ma carte graphique est dorénavent bien installée ? sinon comment puis-je en etre sur ?
2eme question : Si ma carte est bien installée comment puis je faire en sorte quil conserve ma configuration apres chaque redemarrage ?
excuse moi mais cest vrai que je suis bien plus souvent sous windows donc jai pas forcement les elements sous les yeux ...
merci pour ton aide (cetait tellement plus simple sous ubuntu ^^ mais sans doute moins efficace)

La configuration de certains paramètres faite par nvidia-settings peut être chargé au démarrage (voir Wiki), mais ce n'est pas vraiment ce que tu veux.
Tu devrait passer par la configuration de Xorg (à placer dans /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d), à faire à la main pour avoir quelque chose de propre. Donc sans aucun outil graphique (on est sous ArchLinux hein

)

Dans l'utilitaire nvidia-settings tu as tout ce qu'il te faut il me semble. Tu peux passer de la configuration des écrans (détection automatique) au réglage de l'antialiasing en passant par la fréquence d'horloge etc... Le tout qui peut être sauvegardé dans un fichier .nvidia-settings.rc et qui peut être appelé avec la commande nvidia-setting --load-config-only. J'ai toujours fais ça et je n'ai jamais eu de problème particulier et nvidia-settings le fait très bien. Mais tu peux très bien passer par X.org si tu as envie d'apprendre (conseillé).

bon jai fouillé le net
qqn expliquait qu'on pouvait prendre le fichier de congig de nvidia le renommer xorg.conf et le mettre dans le dossier /etc/X11
voila je vous parle je suis en root car je ne peux plus lancer ma session a moi (envie de pleurer) ... benjarobin ton avatar ... c'est moi !!! ^^
le plus drole c'est que au moment de rentrer mon mot de pass je vois bien que mon ecran a enregistré la config car je vois que mon ecran est en 144hz, par contre une fois mon mot de pass entré lecran clignotte comme s'il voulait changer de résolution et me redemande mon mot de pass ... obligé de choisir root de mettre mon mot de passe et je suis sur le bureau sans aucune icone et tou et tout ....
une idée de la betise que j'ai faite encore ??
en sachant quen root je peux aller chercher le fichier le supprimer ett qqch me dit que ca devrait marche rmais bon :/

j'ai remarqué que dans /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d j'ai qqch d'un peu ressemblant
fichier 10-keyboard-layout.conf

dans le meme genre j'ai trouvé la commande qui permet de gerer le retro eclairage de mon clavier par contre pour la lancer au demarrage je tombe sur des explication qui ne sont pas sur archlinux et qui sont pas facil a manipuler ... de peur de faire une betise ... j'ai créé un alias, ca marche bien mais c'est pas parfait :/
en esperant que quand je saurais comme lancer la config de mon ecran automatiquement je pourrai le faire vace ca : sudo xmodmap -e 'add mod3 = Scroll_Lock'
je cherche juste a faire que mon arch soit le plus agréable possible ... et bordel cest chiant xD

Bon tout d'abord, supprime tout ce que tu as fait, les fichiers de configuration...
Et essaye d'avoir un compte utilisateur fonctionnel.
Puis une fois que tout fonctionne normalement, créer le fichier
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nvidia.conf

Et en théorie cela devrait fonctionner. SI ce n'est pas le cas donne ton log de Xorg (via pastebin ou autre...)
J'avoue n'avoir strictement rien compris ce que tu as expliqué, en tout cas, ne jamais se connecter en root au niveau graphique sauf si tu veux tout casser.

avec ton fichier non plus

Malheureusement tu es le seul à savoir ce que tu as fait pour casser le tout. Car sans aucun fichier de configuration tu devrait avoir un affichage de Xorg correct, d'ailleurs ton log indique aucun problème.
Le fait de t'être connecté en root, peut avoir causé des dommages assez important... Et tu es le seul à savoir ce que tu as fait.
Le plus simple est d'essayer avec un home vierge ou un utilisateur de test.
