(résolu)[Gnome 40] GDM ne s'affiche pas

Bonjour à tous,

GDM ne s'affiche qu'en changeant de tty :
tty2 puis tty1 et il se lance
J'ai trouvé une solution https://zestedesavoir.com/forums/sujet/ ... nt-de-tty/, mais je n'arrive pas à la mettre totalement en place.
Je n'arrive pas à :

Créez ensuite des dépendances du gestionnaire d'affichage vers le ou les appareils
/etc/systemd/system/display-manager.service.d/10-wait-for-dri-devices.conf

Tu dois créer 2 fichiers :
/etc/udev/rules.d/99-systemd-dri-devices.rules

Mon erreur était de ne pas remplacer :
display-manager.service.d qui était généraliste par :
gdm.service.d qui correspond à mon gestionnaire.
J'ai donc créer 2 fichiers ainsi qu'un répertoire puisqu'il n'existait pas.
Et ça fonctionne

Quelle est ta carte graphique ? Quel est le driver video installé ? Peux tu donner le log de ton serveur d'affichage (Xorg ou Wayland) ?

Peux tu donner l'intégralité du log de /var/log/Xorg.0.log ? Ce que tu donnes n'a que peu d’intérêt
Ta solution n'est pas une bonne solution...
Et non je ne penses pas que tu utilises Vesa (et si tu l'utilises ce n'est pas terrible du tout !).
Tu as une carte Nvidia (avec le module nouveau), mais je ne sais pas si tu as installé le driver graphique qui va bien...

J'ai essayé avec le nouveau de nvidia et ça ne fonctionné pas, c'est une très vielle carte

Tu n'as pas nouveau

(xf86-video-nouveau) voir wiki

J'ai essayé avec le nouveau de nvidia et ça ne fonctionné pas, c'est une très vielle carte

pas compris, "essayé de nouveau avec nvidia" ou "essayé avec nouveau" (pas de nvidia, mais pour nvidia)
j'ai aussi une carte de plus de 10 ans (- performante que la tienne) et aucun problème avec nouveau

ps: ma carte ne supporte pas wayland

ça fonctionne mais 2min pour démarrer

Il ne faut pas installer xf86-video-vesa.
En effet la carte est trop veille pour utiliser le driver nvidia, mais cela devrait fonctionner avec le driver nouveau. Attention de ne pas confondre module et driver pour Xorg.
Tu dois installer xf86-video-nouveau

Réinstallation avec xf86-video-nouveau et toujours un temps anormalement long entre gdm et graphical-target. Env 2 min. en tout.
Pour info j'ai une deuxième Arch sur mon PC installé depuis quelque temps avec vesa et qui démarre en 45-50 sec

Actuellement le problème c'est que ton PC démarre trop vite, et surtout pas dans le bon ordre.
C'est difficile d'aider car tu ne donnes pas le contexte de tes essais. Et surtout ce qui est décrit ici (viewtopic.php?p=176956#p176956) ne devrait pas être appliqué tant que tu n'as pas un fonctionnement normal de Xorg. Tu veux aller trop vite.
Ce que je ne comprend pas, c'est que tu donnes les log d'un système où Xorg ne se lance pas du tout (no screens found(EE))... Donc personnellement je suis perdu depuis le début (car tu indiques que ton interface graphique se lance bien)...

Peux tu donner la sortie de :

Tu dois avoir les bons paquets d'installé (Ne surtout pas installer les paquets de nvidia et vesa, et avoir xf86-video-nouveau).
Supprime les fichiers qui ont été ajouté pour démarrer dans "le bon ordre" mais qui ne fonctionne pas...
Ne pas avoir GDM d'activé : Il ne doit pas démarrer automatiquement au démarrage : systemctl disable gdm
Laisser le PC démarrer normalement : reboot
Depuis un tty, vérifier que tu as bien : /dev/dri/card0
Vérifier la sortie de : lsmod et que nouveau soit bien chargé
Supprimer le log de Xorg
Lancer manuellement GDM : systemctl start gdm
Nous donner le log de Xorg (que tu peux normalement faire depuis ton interface graphique)
