[4500mhd] effet bizarre sur bas de l'écran (en attente)

Bonjour,

J'ai fais l'acquisition d'un Asus UL30A et j'en suis franchement hyper content.
Le seul souchis, c'est que la carte graphique sous linux provoque des petits trucs bizarres sur l'écran par moment.

L'effet est un peu comme un zigzag sur le bas de l'écran (environ 1/4 de l'écran) noir et blanc, un peu comme un effet superposé. Enfin un truc que je n'avais jamais vu.

Je n'arrive pas à trouver quand est-ce que cela se produit j'ai déjà testé diverses choses, même changé d'environnement graphique pour tester même si c'est completement absurde (testé openbox, dwm et pekwm) et rien ne change le soucis reste présent.

J'ai installé : xf86-video-intel + mesa + intel-dri
Tout avec HAL (autodetecté).

Tout fonctionne hyper bien malgrès que le touchpad est mal reconnu mais ne pose aucun soucis, même le clic droit en posant 3 doigts fonctionne.

Enfin voilà. Si quelqu'un pouvait m'aider à résoudre ce petit soucis... merci beaucoup

Quel est ton processeur graphique et ton xorg.conf ?
Que remonte comme erreurs /var/log/Xorg.0.log ?

Avec le "xf86-video-intel-newest" ça n'a plus l'air de faire cet effet, maintenant ça fait comme un voil devant l'écran une fraction de seconde (effet de flash).

Soucis disparu après reboot avec les drivers du dépôt AUR "xf86-video-intel-newest".
Tout semble ok depuis 2 jours.


Seul différence, j'ai perdu 100fps... une idée pour améliorer cela?
En fait, sur youtube, une video c'est limite. 2 n'en parlons pas. Comment booster cela?

Je relance ce topic, je viens de faire l'acquisition d'un asus ul30vt, avec une 4500mhd et j'ai le meme souci, la bande en bas de l'écran, j'ai testé les intel-newest, mais le problème persiste, j'ai tenté de passer en kernel 2.6.33.1-1 mais idem, je voulais savoir si tu etais arrivé a quelque chose tuxrevolt ?

J'ai trouvé cette méthode pour virer les artefacts : ajouter i915.powersave=1 à la ligne kernel dans /boot/grub/menu.lst
J'espère que ça aidera.
