Bonjour à tous, j'utilise avec le plus grand bonheur urxvt depuis que je suis passé sur pekwm et je rencontre une difficulté :

Je souhaite utiliser la transparence (vraie ou fausse) mais je n'y parviens pas. J'utilise xcompmgr associé à pekwm j'ai lu différentes informations contradictoires sur le net sur la compatibilité ou non de ces deux la mais quand je veux lancer xcompmgr il me dit qu'il est déjà en cours ... donc ça devrait marcher non ?

Bref après tout ces babillages je poste mon .Xdefaults

Ca marche parfaitement avec [ -n "$WINDOWID" ] && transset-df -i $WINDOWID >/dev/null !

Eh bien je n'ai (une fois de plus) qu'a remercier les participants à ce merveilleux forum. On en à une belle communauté quand même !

Euh j'ai parlé un peu vite, fait notable j'ai la transparence oui oui oui mais si je me log en root dans la console ou si je lance un nouvel onglet de console hop la transparence disparaît !

Non, rien d'étrange... si je ne me trompe pas; le '.bashrc' est spécifique à chaque utilisateur...
et ceci dit tu ne devrais pas lancer X en root de toutes manières....

transset met toute la fenêtre en transparence, l'écriture y compris

Teste:

Sinon, pour la vrai transparence (vu que transset fonctionne) : urxvt. Si ça ne fonctionne pas, renomme ton .Xdefaults et réessaie, certaines options s'annulent entre elles.
