[boot] Problème au démarrage "SRST failed"

J'ai cherché la solution à mon problème sur moult forums sans vraiment trouver de solutions. Les plus vieux post que j'ai trouvé remontent à des périodes lointaines (2007 pour le plus vieux) et semble affecter indifféremment les disques à plateau et les SSD, ATA comme IDE. Il semble frapper toutes les distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora et, dons mon cas, Arch).

Lorsque je démarre la machine, le bios fait ce qu'il a à faire, syslinux démarre, le kernel boote "Ok, booting the kernel" et au bout d'un moment, j'ai ceci :

Je redémarre ma machine, et au bout d'un nombre aléatoire de redémarrages, ça finit par fonctionner et la machine démarre normalement.

Pour info, voici quelques infos sur mon disque : il s'adit d'un SSD Verbatim de 128 Gio, mais je n'ai pas l'impression qu'il soit incriminé : une fois ce cap passé, aucun problème de fonctionnement.

PS: penses bien à mettre les UUID pour identifier les partitions dans ton /etc/fstab

Je déterre ce vieux post dont le problème n'avait pas été résolu car, tant que ça fonctionnait à peu près, je n'étais pas revenu sur le sujet.

Cette fois et après une mise-à-jour du noyau, c'est fini, rien ne vas plus. dans le post cité ci-dessus, il est question de "downgrader" c'est-à-dire de contourner le problème tant bien que mal en se bloquant à une ancienne version.

Ils ont l'air de dire aussi que la solution n'est pas dans FStab... Mais où est-elle ? Dois-je régler le problème à la Windows : format + réinstall complet ? C'est radical, mais s'il n'y a que ça je vais y être contraint.

Si qn a une idée...

La solution a pourtant été donnée... Il faut utiliser des UUID...

Ok, et donc pour accéder à mon FStab, je suis obligé d'utiliser un liveCD/USB vu que les partitions ne peuvent pas être montées. J'ai bon ?

Il faut évidement éditer ton fstab et ta configuration de syslinux (Les UUID sont à définir à ces 2 endroits) depuis un liveCD si tu n'arrives plus à démarrer.

En tout cas je te remercie pour ton aide, je ne suis pas encore tout-à-fait au bout de mes peines.

Lorsque je fais appel à mon disque / à l'aide de son UUID (dans syslinux.cfg), il semble aller chercher les liens qui sont dans /dev/disk/by-uuid/ Malheureusement ce répertoire est vide chez moi... il ne trouve donc toujours rien. Comment recréer ces liens ? sachant que ce ne sont pas vraiment des fichiers, et ce que je me dis, c'est que mes liens créés depuis mon liveUSB seront-ils lisibles pour syslinux lorsque je vais redémarrer dessus ?

Bref, comment recréer ces liens...

Il est possible que tes partitions ne possède pas d'UUID, il faudra éventuellement leur en donner une

Elles en possèdent une, j'ai regardé avec gparted depuis mon liveUSB.

Sinon, la sortie de blkid est... un peu longue à taper à la main sur un autre ordi, mais j'ai bien l'énorme adresse unique qu'est l'UUID, pour chaque partition de mon disque.

Je viens de trouver la commande 'udevadm trigger' qui me permet de remettre ce dossier à jour avec l'ensemble des lecteurs connectés. J'exécute cette commande lorsque je suis au prompt après qu'il m'ait dit qu'il trouve pas la partition. Il "remplit" /dev/disk/by-uuid/ comme il faut, et la présence ou non des raccourcis à l'intérieur de cette destination est même dynamique car elle se met à jour lorsque j'enlève une clef USB...

Et j'ai le retour en force du comportement aléatoire : exceptionnellement il démarre correctement (si si), et de temps en temps, il semble démarrer, c'est-à-dire que tout se déroule comme il faut jusqu'à la détection de la carte son (dernier événement à se passer comme il faut) et affiche

Ça ressemble cette fois à un problème avec la partition montée sur /home (en effet, j'ai une partition se montant sur /, celle qui pose problème, une en /boot/ et une en /home/)...

J'y comprends pas grand-chose, surtout cette histoire de comportement aléatoire. L'alignement des planètes peut-être ?

blkid ne renvoie rien depuis le liveUSB, ce que je trouve étrange, c'est que c'est que mon disque dur est nommé sdk ou sdj, ça doit être selon son humeur. En tout cas ça ne correspond pas au 'sda' écrit dans le fstab.

D'ailleurs, pourquoi les UUID sont commentés dans le FStab ?

Mais avant de tout modifier, j'aimerais être sûr de ce que je fais et comprendre un minimum...

Merci d'utiliser le bouton d'édition au lieu de créer X messages qui se suivent

Sinon on dirait bien un problème matériel... La sortie de : dmesg pourrait aider à comprendre.

Pour ton fstab il suffit d'utiliser les UUID spécifié dans les commentaires : Pourquoi il sont commentés : c'est l'outil de génération du fstab qui fait par défaut ceci et que tu ne lui as pas passé l'option pour utiliser des UUID

Pour dmesg je poste ça ce soir. Et promis je fais un edit de ce message.

Pour ce qui est de passer l'option, ok, comment dois-je faire ? Il suffit de décommenter les lignes ?

J'ai effectué les changements que tu as prescrits plus haut et rien n'y fait, il me dit au démarrage qu'il lui est impossible de trouver le lecteur /dev/disk/by-uuid/f7f05623-a192-44c8-aa96-1a76d5350d71
