[CG] Catalyst : pas d'accélération 3D(en cours)

Coucou, c'est encore moi ! ^^

Alors, cette fois, c'est pour un problème d'accélération 3D. J'ai installé Catalyst depuis le dépot du même nom, et après un "aticonfig --initial", je n'ai apparemment pas d'accélération graphique. Pour avoir les effets compiz, j'ai dû activer l'option "indirect rendering".

Peux-tu poster :
  • Ton xorg.conf
  • glxinfo |head qui indiquera le support ou non du DRI.

J'ai donc apparemment le direct rendering. Pourtant sous Debian, je tourne à 1600 FPS...

En effet le Direct Rendering est supporté par ton driver.

En revanche tu peux essayer d'ajouter cette section à ton Xorg.conf :

C'est comme ça que j'ai fait ma config. Je n'ai pas compiz d'installé, mais le DRI fonctionne avec d'autres trucs.

Si tu remets le Xorg.conf comme avant ça marche ? (enfin tu n'as plus l'erreur ?)

Woot,

En voyant ton post, une chose m'intrigue :

-ne serait-il pas nécessaire de copier le xorg.conf dans le dossier /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d (car je suppose que tu as un xorg-server > 1.8) ?

Peut-être que je me trompe complètement, mais ayant les catalyst, le simple xorg.conf ne suffit pas pour xorg !

J'ai donc un /etc/X11/xorg.conf qui peut être lu par les applications qui le nécessitent, ainsi qu'un /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf pour le serveur graphique.

Au cas où...si ça peut aider :)
