[souris PS/2] probleme de reconaissance (contourné)

Bonjour les gens :p

Voila aujourd'hui j'ai decidé de changer de distrib (j'étais sous ubuntu) je me suis dis que archlinux ca pouvait être bien et ni une ni deux je prends l'iso et j'installe. après moultes petits problèmes, je lance kde :)

Maintenant il me reste deux derniers petits problèmes :

- Ma souris PS/2 ne fonctionne pas
- Le clavier est en anglais ( je n'ai pas cherché de solution a ce problème mais peut être que c'est lié)

Tu utilises un xorg.conf, mets-le de côté (ce fichier est déprécié et peut faire conflit avec la détection automatique de X. On a besoin de moins de choses depuis Xorg 1.8, les configurations personnelles supplémentaires vont dans le répertoire /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/, cf. wiki) et relance X, voir.

Donc j'ai supprimé xorg.conf, relancé X, mais ca n'a rien changé. J'ai regardé dans 10-evdev.conf, j'ai

Identifier "evedev pointer catchall"
[...]

c'est la souris ca ?

Oui, mais tu ne devrais pas avoir à y toucher.
Est-ce que le log montre que la souris est au moins détectée cette fois ? :?

Ça ira nettement mieux sans espace après les tirets: --mouse.

Tu peux nous refaire le hwinfo correctement ?
J'ai la flemme de chercher dans l'ensemble, vu que l'intérêt de hwinfo est justement d'avoir des infos détaillées par matériel... :copain:

Copié a la main j'espere qu'il n'y a pas de fautes :p

Sinon j'ai remis gnome (j'avais essayé tout au début (avant de mettre KDE) et la souris fonctionnait. La souris ne fonctionne pas non plus :o

Re-edit : Le port PS/2 n'est pas oublié puisque mon clavier est en PS/2 aussi

Donc, à priori, tu n'as de /dev/input/mice ou mouse, si ... ou peut-être un /dev/psaux ? Pour tester, tu pourrais essayer un cat de l'un de ces fichiers (en root) et agiter la souris et cliquer dans tous les sens voir s'il y a des choses qui s'inscrivent ou pas, peu importe quoi (puis CTRL+C pour sortir du cat)...

Je penche pour une régression dans le noyau... :?
Tu devrais réinstaller l'un des kernels précédents (soit à partir du cache de pacman ou à partir d'ARM, cf. Downgrade) et redémarrer dessus pour voir.

Ok je downgrade au 01/01/2011 j'edite le message pour te dire si ca a fonctionné :p

Pas la peine de remonter si loin... en plus, je te disais de juste rétrograder le kernel (tu es sur le 3, tu peux rester sur le 3, mais juste prendre une révision en dessous)... et puis grub, même grub2, ça peut se configurer à la main... et quoi que tu aies oublié ou mal fait, tu peux corriger le tir par un livecd + chroot si nécessaire (voire même juste en éditant le menu de grub au démarrage: apparemment c'est juste ce que tu as à faire...), sans réinstaller... et puis :rhooo: !

La souris est normalement connectée sur le port auxiliaire du contrôleur de clavier PS/2 (i8042).

Cependant le noyau nous dit que ce port est désactivé :
i8042: PNP: PS/2 appears to have AUX port disabled, if this is incorrect please boot with i8042.nopnp
Essaye peut-être de démarrer avec l'option i8042.nopnp.

Bon bah j'ai compris :p en fait c'est le port PS/2 qui est decedé :/

Testé sous ubuntu/kubuntu/xubuntu => que dalle, pas de souris .__.

Me reste plus qu'a trouver une souris usb

Donc, tu t'es offert une réinstallation pour rien (qui en dépit de ton «erreur» de mise à jour ne se justifiait pas :roll: )... :mrgreen:

Bon, ben... du coup, raccourci un peu le sujet et passe-le en abandonné... ou contourné quand tu aurais une souris usb, comme tu veux. :chinois:
