[Lancement] Failed to enable MSI-X (Résolu)

Je viens de mettre mon PC à jour, après plus de 7 ans de bons et loyaux services.
Tout il beau, tout il est beaucoup plus rapide, surtout pour les compils.

Enfin, le problème n'est pas là. Lorsque je mets le PC en route, tout se lance et fonctionne normalement.
Je me logue (environnement kde avec tout ce qui va avec), et toutes les applications fonctionnent parfaitement.

Mais lorsque je fais ctrl + alt + F1 ou F2 ou ..., j'ai bien l'écran noir avec les écritures qui défilent mais ça bloque.

Merci de votre aide pour m'aider à résoudre le problème qui semble (du moins à mon ais, provenir de lacarte graphique.
Il s'agit d'une carte graphique Nvidia et le paquet nvidia est installé.

Quand tu dis que ça bloque, c'est-à-dire ? Tu ne peux revenir à la session graphique (ALT+F7) ou te connecter depuis le tty ?
Si tu as possibilité d'une connexion ssh, vois-tu un processus qui s'affole ?

Là c'est plutôt un problème avec l'usb 3.0 (faudrait voir avec dmesg, mais c'est probablement un souci kernel) mais je pense que tu as raison de t'orienter vers un problème du pilote nvidia (y a quelques soucis en ce moment en attendant une révision prochaine... peut-être essayer avec la version précédente de nvidia/nvidia-utils ? )...
Tu pourrais probablement jeter un oeil sur le log de X consécutif à un blocage (/var/log/Xorg.??.log ) mais aussi sur everything.log (si c'est plus grave).

Le système bloque l'écran quand je fais Ctrl + alt + F1 ou F2.
Par contre je peux toujours revenir sur tty 7.

Non, lorsque je retourne sur tty7 cela fonctionne normalement.

Les ttys sont fonctionnels si tu démarres en init 3 ? (au démarrage, ajoute "3" à la fin de la ligne du kernel)

Au démarrage, pas de tty3 ; il passe directement au tty7.

Après recherche sur internet, il semblerait s'agir d'un problème lié à l'USB 3.0 et non pas à la carte graphique.
J'ai trouvé sur le site ubuntu.fr, une page sur le problème.

Ça y est, cela marche.

J'ai donc fait dans l'ordre:
1. Installé grub2 ;
2. Édité le fichier de configuration /etc/default/grub
3. Modifié la ligne " GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" " en ajoutant "pci=nomsi", ce qui donne " GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash pci=nomsi".
4. Saisi la commande " sudo update-grub ".

Ce la évite au système de croire que la carte mère est une carte MSI.

Merci de ton aide, en espérant que cela puisse éventuellement servir à quelqu'un.

Pour info, tu n'étais pas obligé d'installer grub2, rajouter pci=nomsi sur la ligne kernel dans le menu.lst aurait certainement suffit. :wink:

Pour re-info, init 3 ne correspond pas au tty n°3 mais au niveau d'exécution, c'est-à-dire sans lancement de X si on le démarre par inittab (ça aurait justement servi à voir si ça venait de X ou pas).

C'est tout à fait exact, mais comme les informations que j'avais récoltées ne applique qu'à grub2 et que je ne suis pas un pro de l'informatique, j'ai simplement suivi le mode d'emploi.
