[boot] updating module FAIL (RESOLU)

Salut a tous,

Me voici bien ennuyé,se matin ma machine refuse de démarrer correctement.
Lors du check up au boot, j'ai le droit a updating module FAIL.

Sur le coup, je n'y est pas fait attention mais une fois le serveur graphique lancé je me rend compte que la souris ne fonctionne plus, le son non plus, le reseau non plus, ...

Me voici donc sur un livecd pour vous contacter.

Se problème est hors de mes compétences.

Quelqu'un peut me donner un coup de main ?

Si tu peux poster ton dmesg.log, pour voir de quoi il retourne. Merci.

Je sais pas pourquoi...mais je regarderais bien dans /var/log/pacman.log...
La majorité des bugs se situe entre la chaise et le clavier...
Arrêtez de vous prendre la tête avec les partitions... passez au LVM

udev a été mis à jour. Il faut peut-être regarder par là.
Tu fais des mises à jour automatiques (c'est rigolo les 'pacman -Sy' toutes les 55 minutes...) ?

Il semble qu'udev pose des soucis. A rétrograder donc via un

La majorité des bugs se situe entre la chaise et le clavier...
Arrêtez de vous prendre la tête avec les partitions... passez au LVM

J'ai retrogradé kmod et udev et mon systeme est devenu réutilisable.

Je ne place pas le sujet en résolue car cela n'est qu'un contournement de problème.

Voici une avancée :

J'ai refait les mise a jours et j'ai constaté que deux executables (udevd et edevadm) ont était déplacé de /sbin/ à /usr/bin/ .

J'ai donc changé l'adresse de ces executables dans mon fichier /etc/rc.sysinit et le reboot suivant j'ai recupéré mon réseau, ma souris, le son, ...

Par contre j'ai toujours le Fail sur l'étape updating module.
Je soupsonne que le problème proviènne de kmod, je fait d'autre test et je transmettrais les résultats.

Par certains côtés, ton problème ressemble à celui que j'ai évoqué dans ce sujet : http://forums.archlinux.fr/topic10344.html

A tout hasard, le problème concernait les framebuffers qui avec la mise à niveau de udev n'étaient plus blacklistés par défaut.

La solution m'a été donnée par Tuxce - que je remercie encore - qui m'a suggéré de créer un un fichier fb.conf dans le répertoire /etc/modprobe.d, fichier contenant :

Peut-être qu'il te faut blacklister d'autres éléments ?
La TV ? J'adore la TV. Je peux rester des heures devant la TV ... et même, parfois, il m'arrive de l'allumer ...

Tu es sûre que ton système est complètement à jour ? Quel est le miroir que tu utilise ?

Merci de vos réponse mais la derniere mise a jour de kmod semble avoir corrigé le problème.

@mimile : comme je vient de le dire la solution était dans kmod pour ma part.

@ benjarobin : je n'ai pas initscripts d'installer sur ma machine.

Tu es obligé d'avoir initscripts d'installé... Sinon je ne vois pas comment tu fais pour booter
Quel est la sortie de pacman -Qo /etc/rc.sysinit car normalement ce fichier appartient à initscripts

Ce qui est très grave, je me demande comment ton système peux encore fonctionner...
Et cela m’étonnerait que le problème vienne de ctkarch
Bref je te conseil de tenter l’installation d'initscripts. Il te faudra faire une sauvegarde de l'ensemble des fichiers en conflit avec initscripts.
Puis une fois ceci fait tu devras forcer l'installation et espérer que tout démarre correctement :-)
Si ce n'est pas le cas, il te suffira de restaurer les fichiers que tu avait sauvegardé via un liveCD

Merci de tes conseils benjarobin, seulement mon problème étant résolue, je ne vais pas me lancé dans de tels manipulations.

J'ai, jusqu'a présent, toujours fait moi-même les modifications de mon rc.sysinit lorsqu'un problème survenait ( comme des partition qui ne monte plus par exemple) et cela a etait relativement instructif pour moi.
