[XRANDR] Carte NVIDIA non reconnue [RESOLU]

Bonjour tout le monde,

J'ai deux carte graphique en mode optimus et je joue actuellement avec ma carte Intel à mes jeux favoris (sans problèmes pour le moment).

Mais il y a quelque chose que je ne comprends pas car je vois bien mes deux cartes quand je lance la commande lspci mais quand je lance la commande xrandr --listproviders je ne vois qu'Intel.

Le plus bizarre c'est que quand j'ai installé League of Legends via Playonlinux, il m'a bien demander quelle carte utiliser...

De plus j'ai regardé un peu le wiki français sur NOUVEAU et dans la partie configuration il est dit qu'il n'est plus nécessaire de créer un fichier 20-nouveau.conf. Est-ce que ça peut m'aider ? Casser mon affichage graphique ?

J'ai pourtant bien installé xf86-video-nouveau et xf86-video-intel. L'idéal serait de n'utiliser que la carte NVIDIA (ma batterie est HS alors ça en me dérange pas d'utiliser NVIDIA à fond de toute façon j'attends que cette ordinateur meurt pour en acheter un autre).

Tu ne pourras pas jouer avec le driver nouveau, je te conseil donc de suivre viewtopic.php?p=145221#p145221

Alors la solution de l'article ne fonctionnait pas et j'ai eu droit à un black screen donc j'ai préféré installer bumblebeed.service.

Par contre y'a quelque chose que je n'arrive pas à saisir : quand je tape la commande

et la carte discrète était en état OFF. J'ai essayé également avec bbswitch mais aucun changement.

C'est dingue non ? Se pourrait-il que ma carte graphique Intel soit plus puissante que la NVIDIA ? Ça me fait mal déjà rien que de le dire... Ou bien peux être ai-je intérêt à utiliser les pilotes précédents, c'est-à-dire les nvidia-340xx ?

Certaines personnes obtiennent de meilleur performance avec optirun. Sinon pour tester les performance tu devrais utiliser glxspheres*
Normalement si "vblank_mode=0 primusrun glxgears" tourne alors depuis un autre terminal tu devrais voir ta carte graphique dédiée allumée/utilisée

Sinon pour revenir au black screen, tu avais peut être mal configuré quelque chose ? As tu regardé le log de Xorg pour savoir pourquoi X n'arrivait pas à se lancer ?

ben y'avait apparemment GDM qui tournait en rond et puis ce message qui me disait que nouveau ne comprennait pas pourquoi il y a une carte maxwell et puis j'ai fais mes petites recherches et apparemment sur un launchpad ubuntu quelqu'un avait reporté ce bug pour la même carte graphique c'est tout simplement nouveau qui n'a pas encore intégré la carte car trop récente pour le moment et ce qui explique pourquoi Xorg à réussi à démarrer sans problème lorsque j'ai installé nvidia et bumblebee.

Je vais essayé de faire le test en activant bbswitch et en laissant le terminal allumé et je reviens vers toi (si je peux me permettre de te tutoyer).

Je viens de faire le test à l'instant et ça ne change pas du tout mes résultats. Est-il possible que ma carte NVIDIA soit "morte" ? Y'a-t-il un logiciel comme memtest pour la ram mais pour tester le bon fonctionnement de sa carte graphique ?

généralement, quand une carte graphique est "morte", ça provoque pas mal de bugs d'affichage, mais pas une baisse de performance...
par contre, vérifie que le ventilo et l'échangeur de cette carte ne soient pas pleins de poussière: si la température ne peut pas descendre, les perfs sont limitées.

Le souci (ouais j'en ai pleins avec cet ordinateur sans compter la batterie qui est morte haha) c'est qu'il m'est impossible d'accéder aux composants qui sont soudés et je n'arrive pas à ouvrir le capot arrière sans risquer de tout casser donc je préfère en rester là ce n'est pas grave tant que j'ai de l'affichage graphique je m'estime heureux

Pourtant j'avais aucun problème niveau graphique sous WIndows 10 y'a un mois, j'atteignait même 250 FPS (mon plus haut niveau jamais enregistré même sur Windows 8.1 j'avais entre 100 et 150, c'est bien la seule chose de bien sous Windows haha). Donc si c'est un problème de poussière ça aurait du logiquement être le cas aussi sous WIndows non ?

Bon si jamais je ne trouve pas de solution je mettrai le sujet en off et puis je laisserai comme ça de toute façon je jouerai à GTA V l'année prochaine sous Playonlinux quand ça aura bien baissé héhé ;p

Bon j'ai testé sous Ubuntu 14.04.03 LTS en n'installant uniquement la carte nvidia avec le driver 346-update et bien désactiver le intel-microcode (purge, autoclean, autoremove...). Et bien en fait j'ai exactement les même résultat et les même performances sur League of Legends que sous Archlinux !

Je met le sujet en abandon parce qu'en fait la question est obsolète. Finalement Arch fait bien les choses quand il s'agit de la carte graphique. De toute façon ça m'étonnait que je puisse utiliser GNOME avec tout les effets sans pouvoir avoir de la 3D.

Je reviendrai plus tard sur Arch Linux mais je reste sous Ubuntu parce que j'ai la flemme de réinstaller League of Legends (c'est trop long cette c...) En plus on vient installer la fibre chez moi aujourd'hui donc je serai de retour prochainement !

Il ne faut en aucun cas désactiver intel-microcode/intel-ucode, il est même fortement recommandé de l'utiliser. Cela corrige les problèmes de ton CPU intel (cela évite que certain programme plante n'importe quand sans raison), cela n'a strictement rien à voir avec la partie vidéo.

Je me permet de ré ouvrir le thread car j'ai fait quelques avancée (mais pas terrible).

En effet, j'ai réussi à activé nvidia et xrandr et à bien configurer mon fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nvidia.conf et le ~/.xinitrc qui va bien et là surprise le serveur X fonctionne sans broncher !

Mais (oui il y a un mais forcément) quand je lance glxgears et que je regarde la ligne OpenGL render je vois Intel et là c'est la table du salon qui a pris cher...

Des coupains pour me dire si j'ai bien tout fait comme il faut ?

P. S . : infos de dernière minute je tiens vachement bien LoL en Ultra. Ca serait donc normal le résultat de glxgears ? Y'aurait pas moyen de blacklister intel pour être sûr qu'il prenne sa retraite ?

Sinon si le driver intel n'est pas installé, il n'y a aucun moyen qu'il l'utilise. Ce n'est pas forcément choquant (bien que je sois incompétent sur le sujet) de voir le nom de la carte intel affiché, car c'est elle qui est connecté à ton écran, normalement elle fait passé le flux de la carte nvidia à ton écran : la carte intel fait passe plat.
Mais si tu as vraiment un doute il suffit de regarder le log de Xorg

Donc tu me conseille de supprimer carrément le driver Intel ? C'est une idée qui me plaît, mais si NVIDIA ne parvient pas à atteindre le VGA, c'est que ça vient peux être de ma configuration ?

EDIT : je viens de désinstaller xf86-video-intel, mon X démarre avec mon LXDE je lance glxspheres64 et là... OpenGL Renderer: Mesa DRI Intel(R) Haswell Mobile. Je crois que ça me dépasse totalement

Je dirais que le driver nvidia n'est pas utilisé, mais j'ai un gros doute, c'est quoi ta configuration de Xorg ? Peux tu donner la sortie de :

Sinon j'avais bien dis une bêtise, il faut xf86-video-intel installé.
Donc en gros réinstalle le, configure tout comme il faut, avec ton utilisateur lance un startx et donne le log de Xorg ainsi que la sortie des commandes demandées ci-dessus

Bon la doc n'est pas très clair, bref, je ne sais pas trop s'il faut garder le driver intel, c'est modesetting qui est utilisé et non intel.
Apparemment le driver intel peut être gardé tant que la configuration est OK : viewtopic.php?p=145802#p145802
Mais dans tous les cas il te faut corriger ceci (cela ne pouvait pas fonctionner)

Pense bien à tester via startx, qui doit te lancer d'après ta configuration 3 xterm et la clock si tu l'as d'installé... Rien d'autre

J'ai bien fais ce que tu m'a demandé et bien remplacé par ce que tu m'a donné pour 20-nvidia.conf tout fonctionne, j'ai mes 3 terminaux dans startx et j'ai pu accéder à ma session graphique.

Le souci maintenant c'est que j'ai :
