[wlan] Installer le pilote de carte RTL8191SE

Bonjour à tous,

Donc dans un premier temps, j'arrive à installer ce pilote avec la méthode ci-joint dans le forum suivant : http://forums.archlinux.fr/post67321.html#p67321

Maintenant, je refais toute les commandes, j'installe tout les paquets et je n'ai aucun résultat ! Il ne me donne aucune erreur ça ne fonctionne tout simplement pas. Comme si le pilote existait, qu'il était bien pris en compte mais qu'il ne marchait pas !

Donc je vous demande votre aide ! (Je me doute que ça ne doit pas être grand chose, genre un paquet qui manque ou quelque chose dans ce goût là !)

Mais j'ai vraiment besoin du WI-FI sur mon Linux !

This AUR driver used to work on 2.6.36. I've switched to 2.6.38 and recompiled rtl8192se 2.6.0019.1207.2010-4 and
rtl8192se-firmware 2.6.0019.1207.2010-1.

However when I turn the radio on I see the following error message:
GPIOChangeRF - HW Radio ON, RF ON
rtl819xSE:request firmware fail!
rtl819xSE:Firmware Download Fail!!a
rtl819xSE:request firmware fail!
..
..
rtl819xSE:ERR!!! NicIFEnableNIC(): initialization is failed!

In /lib/firmware/rtlwifi I have:
- rtl8192cfw.bin
- rtl8192cufw.bin
- rtl8192defw.bin
- rtl8192sefw.bin
- rtl8712u.bin

I installed it a second time and manually ran a depmod -a. Now everything is fine.

Ok,seems it is not that easy to follow the arch packaging standards.

I will keep the minimum required kernel version the same as the rtl8192se release_note,and the maximum will be increased if someone reports it is working properly in a pre-released kernel version.

I just downloaded and installed/built both the rtl8192se and rtl8192se-firmware packages but when I run netcfg to start up a new wifi connection, I get the following errors caused by the fact that there are no entries in the /sys/class/rfkill directory.

When I used previous versions of the packages, I only got the 'operation not permitted' message and that appeared harmless enough. With this new situation, I cannot shutdown the device and my only recourse is to reboot if I want to start over. I just downgraded the package to the one I had before which combined the base and firmware packages and that one does create a sym link in /sys/class/rfkill and I no longer get the errors.

What could be going on here? Is that a bug with the packages or do I need to set something else up to get the rfkill components to be defined in /sys/class/rfkill?

il lui manque kernel26.38 pour la compilation !

"kernel26.38" c'est pas un paquet, on sait pas trop ce que c'est, le mieux est de poster le vrai message d'erreur.
Et si c'est vraiment un paquet qui lui manque, tu peux aussi voir s'il existe dans les dépôts, de vérifier s'il est installé, à jour etc...

Pour la méthode d'installation de l'ancien topic, elle a la fâcheuse conséquence, comme toute installation avec un "make install" de ne pas être gérée par un gestionnaire de paquet, il faudrait supprimer ce que tu as installé avec cette méthode.

Ce que j'ai fait c'est que j'ai complétement réinstallé l'os comme ça je suis sûr que je n'ai pas de souci ! Et je l'avais fait avant d'installer le paquet de AUR !
Donc justement l'erreur ne vient pas de ça ...

2.8 j'ai pas, 2.7 non plus, la page que je t'ai donné, elle montre core et testing, et la commande que j'ai posté, il y a "core" dedans !! qu'est ce que j'ai raté ??

(un doute, tu n'aurais pas installé avec ctkarch ? si c'est le cas, lis la doc à propos des miroirs)

Donc après avoir enlever le mirroir qui empêche la rolling release, j'ai mit à jour mon système tout installer ce qu'il faut pour mon WI-FI et je n'ai toujours aucun résultat !

Mon grep sur le lsmod ne devait pas être bon... ('connais pas le nom du pilote) ... mais bon, au vu des autres sorties, tout me paraît bien, il te manque juste la connexion.
