Résolu en lançant un pacman -S mesa-libgl lib32-mesa-libgl c'était les lib nvidia qui posait problème mais du coup ça veut dire que c'est la carte intel qui prend toujours le relais... Y'a pas moyen de les faire cohabiter pour pouvoir utiliser la carte NVIDIA ?

Cela aurait été intéressant de donner la sortie du log de Xorg ainsi que les commandes demandées, tu aurait surement eu la réponse à ton problème...
Et oui là c'est ta carte intel qui est utilisée

J'ai fait la mise à jour avant toutes ces commandes et j'ai redémarré y'avait bien la mise à jour pour NVIDIA. C'est bien ils m'avaient envoyé un mail et à peine 2 jour plus tard c'est empaquêté chez Arch Linux

Et je me demandais est-ce que ça serait pas mieux de faire un nvidia-xconfig, et sachant que le fichier sera créé sur /etc/X11/xorg.conf (l'ancienne norme) simplement le déplacer vers /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/xorg.conf tout simplement ? (Je parle d'une installation par pilotes propriétaires via le site officiel et le script d'installation).

Je pense que j'ai compris mon problème. Et en fait la conclusion est qu'il n'y a pas de solution (enfin en tout cas jusqu'au jour où NVIDIA OPTIMUS serait natif j'imagine).

J'aurais du comprendre ça quand j'ai lancé la commande xrandr --listproviders normalement si les deux cartes étaient attachées à l'écran, j'aurais du avoir un résultat avec deux lignes, or je n'avais qu'une seule ligne qui était intel.

Et c'est pour ça que les pilotes nvidia sont inutiles puisque lorsque j'avais désinstallé tout nvidia pour tester, non seulement j'arrivais à ouvrir une session graphique mais en plus j'avais exactement les mêmes FPS avec l'option vblank_mode=0. En réalité intel utilise les ressources de la carte nvidia sans qu'elle soit attachée à l'écran et c'est la raison pour laquelle je n'ai aucune possibilité de basculer de l'une à l'autre depuis mon BIOS.

Donc ma question est obsolète. Ca me servira d'expérience, je ne connaissais pas du tout OPTIMUS quand j'ai acheté l'ordinateur maintenant avec Ubuntu et ArchLinux j'ai une bonne expérience. Merci en tout cas de m'avoir aidé je sais que je ne suis pas très doué et facile mais ça m'a fait plaisir d'échanger.

Faux. Le support d'Optimus par Nvidia sous Linux est natif depuis les drivers 319.12 (donc depuis bien 2 ans) mais ne permet pas le switch de GPU contrairement à Windows. Moi même je l'utilise.

Chez moi aussi ça n'affiche qu'une ligne quand je boot sur la Intel.

c'est la raison pour laquelle je n'ai aucune possibilité de basculer de l'une à l'autre depuis mon BIOS.

Mon Bios ne me permet pas non plus de désactiver l'un ou l'autre GPU.

Le problème, à en lire le log de Xorg, c'est que tu n'utilises aucun fichier de configuration, comme l'a dit benjarobin.

Okay complètement faux ce que je viens de dire et résolu tout simplement en installant les pilotes nvidia-340xx et bumblebee qui fonctionne désormais car c'est une GeForce 840M et non pas nvidia. J'essaierais de faire du full NVIDIA un peu plus tard avec toute la doc que l'on ma donné dans le thread.

J'ai déjà supprimer tout fichier de configuration relatif à NVIDIA ou Intel dans /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/.

Puis j'ai installé tout les paquets nécessaires à ma carte NVIDIA (faudra juste penser à changer de PC avant 2019 qui signe la fin du support)

Bumblebee est une solution fonctionnelle qui permet le switch GPU mais qui est très loin en terme de performance par rapport à du nvidia stand classique. LoL en ultra est à oublier à mon avis. Je sais qu'avec ma config j'atteignais difficilement les 30 FPS avec Bumblebee et je connaissais des chutes de FPS durant les actions avec beaucoup d'animations.

De plus, les pilotes legacy sont moins performants que les derniers pilotes.

Bref, si le jeu sous Linux t'intéresse, Bumblebee est à proscrire bien qu'il fonctionne.

ben c'est que j'arrive pas à faire fonctionner du full nvidia même avec les pilotes 340xx (qui sont ceux qui fonctionnent car j'ai une GF840M, nvidia ne fonctionne que sur les cartes récentes). Donc du coup j'ai pas trop le choix. Faudrait que je vois sur une installation classique ubuntu comment est-ce qu'ils s'y prennent pour ne proposer que du NVIDIA ou que du Intel sur leur paramètre "Pilotes Aditionnels".
