Pas de bol, ce n'est pas la bonne base pour un .xinitrc (trop riche)... Il faut chercher du côté de /etc/skel/.xinitrc.

Essaie avec le pilote proprio en attendant (désinstalle nouveau, cf. wiki).
Et ça j'ai fais aussi, J'ai viré l'ancien pilote pour mettre le pilote proprio à la place et y'a du changement...
Je m'explique, maintenant lorsque je fais mon startx, j'ai le logo nvidia qui apparait, puis quelques secondes après tout se recoupe et je me retrouve sur la console.
